Future of the Constar Legacy

I would like opinions on the future of the Constar Legacy. I have been avoiding this save file for a couple of reasons - 1) the file become corrupt and I had to revert to an older save file. I lost significant amounts of game play that would need to be redone. 2) Last time I played I was using Alpha hair but have since switched to Maxis Match. The Constars are a big family, so I would need to go through and update dozens of sims with new hair, clothes, etc. I am thinking about just sending this legacy to the graveyard as a failed attempt as I have moved on to other families like Not so Berry, My Sims, etc. I thought perhaps I could use our current Gen 5 heir as the fonder of a different challenge.

As someone who has had many legacy files corrupted, I feel your pain!! I voted for option 3 as it's the only option I would do.

I think you have answered your own poll If you've been avoiding it and have grown attached to other families in it's absence, you've subconsciously already moved on.

What you could do is not only save your Gen 5 heir and start a new challenge, but you could also save some of your other favorite family members and use them as spouses or townies in other saves. Then you could still feel connected to family/save while also moving on from a save that has become corrupted

I totally get not being sure how to continue, but if you have become interested in other families, then moving on seems like the right choice. Now, I'm all for the idea of just picking up with the latest heir and starting something new if that is what you want to do but do what you have fun with!
