Sounds an interesting idea, i think i would have to play them rotational and match them if their are single. I think some of them might be too old, and the others should have families and their children marry only children born with those of the sim bin families. I think that's the way i would do it. Hope this helps. :hugs:

Here is a link https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Family_bin to sims bins families. It gives you a list of the ones that would just be in the New neighborhood. :)

I like Peachy's idea! For the Sims that are too old to hace kids you could make an exception and make them an Adult child or two in CAS, that way they could be part of the playthrough too

It's also worth noting that some of the bin sims have broken faces - I know Jessica Picaso does for sure. Any kids she has won't have her genetics until they hit YA or adulthood. There are ways of fixing it, but it would require SimPE.

That said, I like Peachy's idea of playing them in a rotation! It'd be a pretty big 'hood though, with 11 households straight out the gate if you're including the Kim & Kat families.

You could just take the oldest child from the Newson or Ottomas. Or choose a male and female from each family. I am not bothered about broken face templates Or you could combine some households not to make your hood to big. Your welcome Nooboostar. Always here to help :spin:

Ooh i love Chester Gieke but never been that keen on the Larsons. I have no idea why lol. But hopefully once you get your game running again, can't wait to see what you come up with. :)

I am not completely sure but can simpe do it. If not you might be able download the families from sites, i know that could take awhile. Or look for megahood to download with all the premades i am sure there is one. "Instead, please check out http://www.sims2wiki.info/wiki.php?titl ... oving_Sims for detailed instructions of what to do.
To my knowledge, you can also download a clean and ready-to-play Maxis-families neighbourhood on MTS2." this is from another megahood blog i read, or this one https://meetme2theriver.livejournal.com/63030.html. I always wanted to download a megahood but i don't really understand the instructions. Hope this helps in some way. :)

This actually sounds like it could be super fun! It's my rough goal with my Pleasantview-Strangetown hood, to get down to a handful of Sims who can trace their ancestry back to a lot of the original Sims.

nooboostar wrote:Yeah, it really is a fun and interesting idea because it also makes you think (i.e. plan out how you're going to incorporate all the families)! Also, it's cool that you're pretty much aiming to do that in your Pleasantview-Strangetown playthrough. I imagine it's going to be a bit tedious, though, since there are quite a few premade and bin families in both 'hoods. Good luck with that!
I haven't included the bin families, but it is definitely a lot.

I love having multiple families to play, so neighborhoods with lots of families are my favorites to play. I've tried legacies more times than I can count but always get bored.
