Did you all see the news release?!
From the Official Blog
It’s a quiet desert town.
Library.
Watering hole.
Quirky locals.
Military personnel?
Uh. . . conspiracy theories?
A secret lab?!
You know, typical.
Welcome to StrangerVille, where townspeople are acting bizarre for unknown reasons. There’s a deep, dark secret afoot, and your Sim can solve the mystery in The Sims™ 4 StrangerVille!* On February 26, 2019, the strangeness will be released on PC and Mac.
Suit Up
Your Sim will meet many locals and search for clues. But, before they do, you can outfit them in StrangerVille-style clothes! Will it be the bomber jacket and distressed jeans? A prairie-style dress? Or, the super-serious lab coat? Get your Sim prepared in any way you like.
Head Out
Okay, you’ve got your gear. So, where do you head off to? You could get to know locals (and secrets) at the watering hole. Even visit the library to meet scientists who may or may not know important information. But, your Sim can’t be in two places at once. So, you may have to rely on some “equipment” to gather more information.
Follow the Clues
When it starts getting really weird out there, DON’T PANIC! EVEN THOUGH THIS PART IS ALL IN CAPS! Strange weather, odd behavior, and things that glow? Sheesh. The mystery just keeps unfolding. But you just may be one step closer to solving the puzzle.

Re: Strangerville
Yes I saw it! Looks quite different but I’m thinking it might be a slightly more involved type of mystery within the game a bit like the whole Bella Goth mystery in Sims 2?
Also made me feel like the devs have finally heard my pleas after all these years for more stuff like The sims medieval!

Has anyone bought this game pack yet? I'm considering buying it, but I'm a little low on funds at the moment and wanted to know whether you think it's actually worth it?

Re: Strangerville
I bought it. It was fun for the first run though, but I probably won't be doing the investigation again unless i have too. Its not a gameplay option that i want to play over and over. It remided me a lot of the old SimStories series they did like Sim Castaways (or whatever it was called)
I do like the new military career though

Re: Strangerville
I have the pack and have done the mystery twice - once for the story, once one a different sim to complete the aspiration. My sim just reached level 10 in the military career. There isn't a lot of replayability - the second time I knew what to do, just had to do it. So, basically, I agree with Mojot89.
Re: Strangerville
I've ended up purchasing it - but as a bundle with the get famous ep and the toddler stuff pack, so I guess with that discount hopefully it was worth it!
Thanks guys!
