I love this! You make it look almost easy to play an apocalypse...I always thought it would be way too challenging. Maybe I'll give it a go...

Believe me it's not, I have a mini breakdown every time I load the save :heavybreathing: Like I said in an earlier update my lovely pink notebook is ripped from me checking so much. But despite it all, it's fun :P

EDIT (I pressed publish before I was done xD)
I try not to take the save too seriously, I follow the rules and if I mess up I correct it or give a punishment if I can't fix it. It's the only way I can get through :smirk:

Chapter 5
Spoiler:
Aww, poor Chase!

Aww, poor Webster!

Aww, poor LaShawn!

Good grief!

Still, yay for Daisy and Camryn!
Now, this presents a rules conundrum. Ani-Mei, please help out here.
Spoiler:
Usually, two spouses are not allowed in apocalypse challenges. I believe that is so that you don't have two spouses lifting restrictions, in the same generation.

But since LaShawn died before even ATTEMPTING a lift, I figure that it would be OK for Camryn to be the spousal lift. As for heirship, probably ought to go to Camryn's child, as both parents are part of the living line. But then again, posthumous heirs have been done before, so... I don't know. I mean, practically speaking, with LaShawn already dead, Daisy might as well be an alien child, and just as eligible as an alien child born directly to the heir. In fact, Camryn might not even bear a child of her own. Or she might have multiple kidlets.

I say, Go for it with Camryn, and choose whoever you want as heir!

Camyrn can still do the spousal lift and Daisy still counts as main line since she can be linked genetically to the founder. If a spouse dies you can have the heir remarry, just the one who died lost the chance to lift.

That's the exact logic I used, if La Shawn had actually found a job (or lived long enough after her pregnancy to at least start looking) then I wouldn't have remarried, but this is kind of the same as an alien pregnancy, sort of. Either way we need a lift and unless La Shawn can drag her lazy ass back from the underworld I don't think she can do much :P

Hehe, not without Paranormal and Education lifted. Need college for the Paranormal career, need Education for the college.

Don't forget Adventure, or you can't place the bone phone career reward.

:)
Spoiler:
I just caught up and I am loving this! You're making me want to play an apocalypse which is pretty terrifying.

Shame about LaShawn, hopefully her ghost won't be too annoying.

I love Daisy's hat! I look forward to seeing more of her as she grows up. :)

Overall, great challenge! It's all so cute and colourful despite the end of the world!

Spoiler:
Holy hell...that was too close!! :heavybreathing: Sometimes I am grateful M&G killed my first Apoca run, I was never afraid of ghost murders due to starvation. Gotta love Daisy saving the day with her teening and no school for teens too. :cover: :duck: What did Daisy roll anyway? Nice save :angel1:

Spoiler:
Considering Shaun doesn't know anything about Sims I'm surprised he noticed it and I didn't! I'm still nervous until Will grows up into a teen, it's a lot of pressure on Daisy to stay alive. And she rolled fortune *sigh*

Commenting on this chapter again. Haha
Spoiler:
I still cannot believe all of the bad luck you had this chapter! I don't think I could ever handle this challenge. At least Daisy is such a great sister!

I've been playing this save all day today and I'm quite far ahead of myself, hopefully there's no issues with them!

Excuse me while I pick up my jaw off the floor. I need to get the scraper, since it's just STUCK THERE.

Oh, Plumbob! Chapter six! I have no words.
Spoiler:
So, I checked my Prima guide, and it said that re-marrying makes the dead spouse really angry and more likely to haunt. So, remind me never to remarry if I already have an heir, and no Paranormal lift. Good GRIEF!
I did get a good laugh, though. "You need to look BEYOND the brick wall, heh heh"

I really like this apocalypse challenge of yours, and the way you keep going. Very impressive.
Spoiler:
Oh, one note - the birthday cake is only necessary to control the baby birthday. Toddlers and up have the self-interaction "Grow Up," so you can choose when they'll age up, within that day, without a birthday cake. But birthday cakes are lovely and fun, so I love them, too.

Michelle:
Spoiler:
Tell me about it! I still can't believe how lucky we got - but La Shawn... ugh! Remind me I hate her in future challenges. Also I didn't know that about the cakes/interactions. I've been playing this game for nearly 10 years and I'm still learning things! I'm determined to keep going, we'll see how things go down.
Edit: update is go!

Great update! Glad you chose Daisy to be heiress, she definitely deserves it! And hey, no one died this chapter! That's an accomplishment, right? :)

Spoiler:
Did someone lift Business too? Education and Business need to be lifted for teens to have jobs. Ah hi Shea! He is my fourth generation spouse and he ended up with four daughters in my Apocalypse. Plot takes forever to write I would have finished months ago if not for plottiness...anywho, nice chappies.

Great updates! Hooray Daisy!
Spoiler:
While you're not allowed to ASSIGN them to clean up the urns, autonomous smashing and sweeping turns out to be a very nice thing. Like autonomous bug-spraying. You can't count on it, but when it happens, HOORAY!
Joseph's everyday wear - WOW.

Where did those eyes come from?

Ani-Mei - she's playing under the "Seasons" rules, and I don't think that's actually restricted.
