Progress tag?

I've noticed there's a progress BBCode tag, what is it for? How does it work? It seems potential useful for keeping track of stuff! Thank you

I honestly don't know. The profile picture show many posts you have done, when you joined and what challenges you completed.

I have no idea either. We got it with a software update a couple of years ago, and it doesn't seem to do anything useful. Maybe it needs a forum extension to work.

So, it's the code and in the middle a "number from 1 to 100". Let's try:

Did a quick look on google.

Looks like it would be useful for doing progress towards something.

[progress=PROGRESS/TOTAL]TEXT[/progress]

PROGRESS = Number you have
TOTAL = Number you want
TEXT = What you want the bar to say (for example, 8 of 50 Goal)

Like it would be useful for SimNaNo, especially if whomever was running it that year didn't have the time/skill to do the graphics.

Or for someone doing a challenge like the 100 Baby Challenge, they could display their baby count that way.

But beyond those two types of content, I don't think it's something we'd use that often here.
