Our first heir candidate is Flora Doe, the daughter of Felix Doe and Marissa Carter (whose name I almost forgot writing this, sorry Marissa).
Flora is a Perfectionist who Loves the Outdoors. She completed her childhood aspiration, Whiz Kid, and got the corresponding reward trait, Mentally Gifted. She has also completed her teenage aspiration, Goal Oriented, and received the Highflier reward trait. Her adult aspiration hasn't been decided yet, but it'll probably be Freelance Botanist.
Plot recap:
We met Flora in the very first chapter of Generation 4, where she was a toddler who didn't get enough attention from her parents. This trend continued, as her mother Marissa left before Flora's child birthday, and her father Felix left not long after, leaving her with Willow. Flora becomes a very well-behaved and high-achieving child, and after they move to Moonwood Mill, she makes friends with some other girls in her class, Elsa Bjergsen and Nanami Ito, who are just as driven as she is. When she becomes a teenager, she meets Wren Grove, a boy who she can be vulnerable with. They start dating, but she hides their relationship from Elsa and Nanami, who don't approve and are always trying to set her up with someone else. While at a bonfire party with Wren, Flora catches Nanami hooking up with Elsa's boyfriend, Max Villareal. Nanami threatens Flora with her own secret (her relationship with Wren) to keep Flora from telling Elsa. The secrecy puts strain on the friendship between the three, and Flora becomes closer to Wren, sharing her career and family dreams with him. Eventually, she comes clean to Elsa and Nanami, ending their friendship. She goes to prom with Wren, and after prom, they exchange promise rings in the park where they first got together, ready to move forward with their lives together.
What's next for her?
Flora has a detailed life plan: get a biology degree, marry Wren, become a botanist, and have two or three kids after she reaches an acceptable level of her career.

The second candidate for heir is Skye Doe, daughter of Willow Doe and Conor Ainsley.
Skye is adventurous and outgoing. She completed her childhood aspiration, Mind and Body, and received the Headstrong reward trait. She is still only about a week into her teen life stage, so her teen aspiration (Goal Oriented like Flora) hasn't been completed yet. Her adult aspiration is still undecided, but it'll probably be Nerd Brain.
Plot Recap:
We meet Skye as a very cute baby who was the catalyst for the move to Moonwood Mill. Once she becomes a child, she meets Amos Howell through Willow's job working for the Wildfang Pack, and they become friends. At the same time, she spends time with her father, who gets mad at her after she breaks one of his artifacts (he's an archaeologist). He treats Anna Volkov, a young girl who lives in the Moonwood Collective with him, much better because she actually really likes archaeology. Skye becomes jealous of Anna and is driven to be outperform her at school, which Amos doesn't understand. When they become teenagers, Skye joins the computer club and pursues Michael Delgato, who Anna has a crush on. She fights with Amos over this decision, and they stop talking. Skye and Michael start dating, and it's going well until a full moon, when Skye shifts into a werewolf for the first time in front of Michael, terrifying him. Michael breaks up with her over text and Willow comforts her. Afterwards, she goes to Amos, apologizes for being so obsessed with getting her father's attention, and confesses to him. Amos reciprocates her feelings and they kiss.
What's next for her?
Skye still has a while before she ages up, but basically: she's dating Amos, she's planning to join his pack (the Wildfangs), and she wants to be a computer engineer. She's not as much of a long-term planner as Flora, but that's her current plan for the moment.

Personally, I think this generation suffered somewhat from the transition from Sims 3 to Sims 4 halfway through, and I'm really sorry if you felt that way too. I've tried to keep the writing quality high, but I don't feel entirely satisfied in this generation, sadly. I'm planning on putting a lot more effort into this next generation, so I want to devote more time to the actual planning.
