Spoiler:
You'll be doing an asexual twist on this? That's interesting; I look forward to seeing where you go with it.
Following what Peachy said, Pauline's made great progress in her career, and getting a quarter of the way to her LTW was pretty impressive too.
I like that you built a separate gallery for her paintings; that's a smart way to keep track of them. (And yes, it's difficult to take pictures in such a small space!) And the expanded house looks like a really nice place to live.
I am curious what your plans are for the items Pauline has been digging for. If they'll be for a business, you could call it "Trash and Treasures Antiques" or something like that. :hmm:
Enjoyed the first part; looking forward to the next one!

Spoiler:
Pauline's been hardworking in the career department early on. I figured since topping a career is part of this challenge that she should do it early, so she can earn high wages while focusing on the other parts later on. :)

Thanks! I think it's pretty cute. ^^

Yeah, I guess I could say I "semi-randomized" her, that is, kept re-rolling until I got an aspiration that I liked for the challenge and that roll set her as an ace. :) I'm not entirely sure yet which way I'll go with her family, but I'm looking forward to it too.

Pauline focused on her career early on, so that she's gain high wages when she's focusing on the other parts. The LTW is a bit of a twist of its own, it adds some extra challenge for sure, but luckily Pauline is well on her way there too.

Thanks! I think the house came out pretty nice, and the gallery feels like a good way to keep track of the challenge. The cramped space inside is a bit of a picturetaking issue though.

You may have guessed my sneaky plan, it was partially inspired by the Trailer Park Challenge yard sales. That's a pretty nice name suggestion too. :hmm: I'm still undecided whether I might go the home business route, though, as that would be cheaper and I rarely do home businesses.

Update 3 is out now, we're at 15 paintings now! I may need to do a bit of sprint to be able to finish on time.

Peachy:
Spoiler:
Thanks! It does seem to be going well, although I'll have to speed up if I want to make it in time for Summer Challenge. I could otherwise just pretty much paint through the rest of the challenge, but I want the points for Pauline's LTW. (And it would be against the spirit of the rules, even though Pauline has had a life so far.)

My apologies for not commenting before, but congratulations on finishing the challenge!

A few remarks:
Spoiler:
Part Three:
If I'd been the headmaster, I would have been pleased with a spaghetti dinner too; maybe it was something a bit fancier like bolognese.
I also have a tendency to play chance cards at inopportune times, especially if I forget that I'm playing a challenge where you're allowed to ignore them. At least the consequences weren't severe.
I don't play a lot with pets either, even though I like them IRL. Penny seems really happy with her new companion, though!

Part Four:
I wonder what breed of dog Fluffy is? He looks like a terrier or schnauzer, if my guess is correct.
I didn't realize business profits were shared like that. It's disappointing, but at least it wasn't a complete loss.

Part Five:
Dogs can watch TV? I had no idea!
A magic lamp and permanent platinum; they're doing great!
I've been playing Sims 3, and I had forgotten that there the variety of paintings in Sims 2 is a lot more limited.
Penny really had an unlucky streak for a romance sim; maybe she'll have better luck in college.
The three portraits were a stylish finish to the gallery; good idea!

Hi, and welcome aboard! No worries, I'm happy to receive comments at any point! ^^
Spoiler:
Part 3:
Yeah, spaghetti can be really good, and it seems the headmaster was happy too. I always think I should offer some of the more difficult meals to please the headmaster, but that doesn't seem to be the case actually.

Heh, I suppose it's comforting to know I'm not the only one. I've promised myself many times I won't do chance cards in a challenge if I don't have to, and just as many times I've slipped up and gotten a bad outcome! Well, at least it wasn't too serious this time.

It was a nice change of pace to have a pet, since I rarely do them. In a bigger household, there's already enough going on, but with just two human sims, it was pretty fun. And Penny especially quickly got close with Fluffy, that was nice to see.

Part 4:
I'm wondering too, I'm not very good at recognizing dog breeds and his looks don't ring a bell really.

I didn't know that either, still learning new things about a 20 year old game! I noticed it when checking for Pauline's earnings repeatedly, as it seemed like selling the treasure chest she found should have given a bigger boost. And then I noticed that Penny had somehow inexplicably earned money. Kind of a bummer in this case, but well, live and learn.

Part 5:
They can, it's pretty cute. :)

Both Pauline and Penny did quite well Aspiration ways. Penny didn't have much (any) luck as a Romance sim, but fortunately her Popularity secondary came in handy to score some nice Wants. If I ever get along to playing her in college, maybe that luck will change.

Yeah, the default paintings are pretty limited. You can make custom ones from your own images, but I haven't.

Thanks! ^^ I was happy with how they turned out, and it was a two birds with one stone situation, as I also got the challenge points for the family portraits with that as well.
Thank you for reading and commenting!
