Yeah, there's no time limit. You could ask for an extension on the final day and we'll give you it! It's just for fun after all, and real life needs to be dealt with first sometimes ^_^

You're also welcome to ask for an extension if you need it But yes, you're more than welcome to participate in future rounds, you just don't get the points for the round you miss.
