I've been playing Sims for the past 10 years. I've started many legacies, and I've finished none.

How do you stay motivated to finish? I usually get 5 generations in before I get super bored and move onto another family.

I haven't really had that problem - I just make sure that when someone dies, I have them constantly do sad things (paint sad paintings, cry in bed, call sadness hotline, etc.)

I just started playing TS3 again because I really missed the expansion that added fame, but I'm starting to remember why I stopped playing. The game always slows down so much after several sim days.

I loved playing premades, I played a lot in Pleasantview mostly. I really liked all the storylines there.

When you start playing in the morning after a little while you think "I'll take a break" and it's been 13 hours.

Probably medically required to sleep each nice in hot wax. That actually sounds really relaxing haha.

I actually never thought about this topic in-depth! I usually count the first gen as Gen 1.

Back in the day, I published them on The Sims 2 website since it was just so easy to do it that way.

I don't even know if that website is still active haha.

I'm not really one to talk about 'too short' (mine are minimum 100 slides) but just do what you can. I know this topic is a bit old, but I have no problem staying logged in whatsoever. I can only assume you wouldn't stay logged in if your browser is set to clear history/cache every time you close the browser.
