Not authorized to view PM?

I got a notification that I have a new PM, but when I clicked on it, I got to a page that said that I'm not "authorized to view private messages that are on hold". Never seen that before, anyone know what's up?

i honestly don't know nothing is showing up in admin. Do you know who the sender is for the pm?

Yeah, the notification says it's from nooboostar, and it tells me the title too. But I can't see it in my inbox, and the notification doesn't let me view it either.

Maybe the PM was deleted by the sender? Teresa might know more.

Yeah the same thing seems to happen to your message too, I'm not allowed to read that one either.

Hmm, actually. Just noticed that my inbox was full. Maybe the forum is trying to tell me I can't store any more messages? I tried to remove some old messages, the missing two haven't arrived yet but maybe they will.

i think you are only allowed 200 message so yeah maybe it is cos you inbox is full lol

Thanks Peachy and Teresa! I can see that my inbox indeed has a bigger limit now, plus I removed some messages a couple days ago. So now there should be space, but the messages have still not come. I checked the outbox and sent folders, and they don't seem to be near their limits. This is odd.

Ha, problem solved! On the inbox page, I now saw a small instruction text that told me to click on a link to release the messages that were on hold. So I had to both make room for the messages and manually release them before they showed up. I feel kind of silly now. In any case, thank you for your help!
