Tips for starting a Let's Play?

Post by simsterlyrock »

I've been toying with the idea of starting a Sims 2 Let's Play channel for about a week now. Do any of you do Let's Plays and have some tips for me? I think it could be fun and especially now that I'm at home for the foreseeable future since my state governor just extended our shelter in place to May 4, I feel like this might be a good time to start one since I could record a backlog of episodes and be good to go once I start working again.

I think that Carmen King, as vulgar as she can be, is a good example of how to do a let's play. She's developed a character that she portrays while her playstyle reflects it. I find that too many Sims Let's Play youtubers are kind of boring and it makes it difficult to support their content.

Deligracy is also a good example of a Let's Player to observe.
