Thanks, girls...unfortunately, I have been VERY stupid! I accidentally deleted this file from my game! I got a little too crazy when I was cleaning up my files, and they got caught up in it. I still want to do all these challenges, though.

Sorry for the double post, but I am so excited! I found a copy of my Montebelo Musings on a flash drive! I frequently put saves on there so I can go between my desktop and laptop! So I will be able to dust them off and continue on.

I absolutely LOVE this idea - as I have a list of challenges I want to do.

I play sims 3 - and I am not sure there is a way to stop aging for the none active houses
or is that what story progression does??
I have never turned SP off so I don't know.

If anyone knows a way in sims 3 to just have aging on in the active house I would love to know!!

I don't think it's possible in the Sims 3 do just have aging in the active household. (just opened my game to check and no bueno) You would have to turn aging and story progression off and then age up your current household manually. :(

I would say that this couldn’t be done in TS3 because of the sheer file size. In fact, Theresa made it through about 5 rounds doing this in TS4, and it started bogging down and glitching. She is now playing all the challenges in separate files, but still doing weekly rotations. Seeing the writing on the wall, im starting to do the same thing at the start of round 2. I hope to be able to the story lines in such a way that it still seems like they are still in the file.

If you have Nraas' Story Progression mod, you can use the caste settings to turn off the aging for all but your active house. Click on City Hall or a computer, then go to NRaas > SP > Caste Options > Not Active > Death:Allow Aging and set it to False. That way all the non-active houses will not age. If you want to make it even more TS2-style, you can also set it so they won't get pregnant while you're away, won't start or end relationships, won't skill, won't progress in their career, etc.

And I'm all caught up!

I'm also a micro-manger so have never been successful in an ISBI (I give up after one play session)
