The Miskin Legacy: From Misery to Merit? (COMPLETE 10/05/18)

Post by bookloverblue »

This is my first ever attempt at a legacy!

Born into nobility, Myron has always lived in the shadow of his older brother, Lord Mostyn. When Mostyn passes away, it makes Myron realise that life is short... and unlike his sibling, he has no legacy to leave behind.

Desperate to escape the gloom, Myron decides to make a new life for himself, and build a legacy that will be passed from generation to generation. As the decades pass, he and his descendants - working in various professions such as art, comedy and many more - will experience love, loss, victory and tragedy... as well as extra-terrestrial encounters, vampires, and experiences on both sides of the law.

Gender Law: Patriarchy (relaxed)
Bloodline Law: Traditional

This is just absolutely wonderful!
Spoiler:
I love how your chapters are short but still keep up with the family. I always take too many pictures and don't edit down enough. Are you planning on making this a rainbowcy kind of thing too?

Many thanks!
Spoiler:
If anything, I think I'm the other way around - I never take ENOUGH pictures! Whilst I'm not deliberately going for a rainbowcy in terms of genetics, I made a comment in the first chapter about Myron's gloomy home needing some colour in the future. So, I thought it might be fun to associate a colour with each new generation.

After this most recent update:
Spoiler:
Oh my gosh... oh no... oh dear...

Montague, what have you done? I can't wait to see what happens to make Mordecai an outsider. I have a feeling this might lead to Matthais trying to compete for the title of heir.
