Christmas is coming, so how about a santa's workshop? Or a winter wonderland.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, keep them coming!!

Additionally, if you have some other suggestions as to how the rounds are held (for example: blind entries, where each entry is PM'd to me and I would post all of them so you wouldn't know whose is whose, or maybe having a lightning round, or a multi-stage round, etc.) please post them here!

Since it's officially Spring, maybe something Spring break oriented? Place: Vacation spot? Sim: Tourist?

It's not entirely a "build" but what if for one of the challenges, you had to redecorate the Goth's home? Repaint, refurnish, etc. I chose the Goth's since they have a house in every game from TS1-TS4 :)

I also really like the idea of a blind entry contest so that people don't just vote for their friends, I feel like sometimes the votes are unfair.

Theres a topic under Fun Stuff>Competitions called Fix That Ugly! Link: http://boolprop.net/viewtopic.php?f=124&t=124 that addressed what you're suggesting. If someone wants to start that up again, I'd love to participate.

I like the idea of building businesses like the flowershop in the last one (I almost had mine done too grrr). Maybe like a bar, a casino or a teen club could be fun!

Hi :)

I haven't read the whole topic like I should- How about a Pet Park or Pet Store... or a Mall or a Beauty Parlor/Barber Shop. :)

This suggestion is a two-parter: First part is to recreate your home, apartment or dorm room as it is. Second part is to remodel your lot anyway you want. Ever thought about a balcony to your bedroom? Make it happen! Want a bigger tv or bed? Go for it!

Library

Out of water mermaid sim

Bob Newbie's home

Recreate a Townie in another game (like Bob Newbie, or Mortimer Goth someone we all know or could easily find out about)

Alien spaceship badly disguised to resemble a house

Just thought of one, but not sure if it is actually feasible or if it has been done in the past.

It would be neat to do a home makeover round where you need to take a premade house or lot and make it over. Not just by coloring and decorating but also construction wise. You would need a before and after. I was just thinking about it goofing around in TS2.

In BTNM thus season, the final round was a legacy/challenge round. Would something like that be feasible? Build a house for a legacy or challenge.

Yeah like an asylum challenge - because those houses are specific as to what you can have in them.
They basically have to be very run down.

How about a no-walls/outdoor 'house', for a challenge? Like, you could use hedges and canopies and whatever to make 'walls' instead.

I'm not entirely sure how well it'll work across various versions of the sims, but I used to build 'hedge houses' in the sims 1:
(hopefully this works, photobucket is being really slow for me lately??)

I think it's a pretty cool idea, Sam. 8-) I'll decide something for the next round this weekend.
