If I can put in my two cents on a name, the one you have in the screenshots--Johann--has a nice ring to it. He looks like a Johann.

I don't know about a surname, though. They're always the hardest.

Okay so Johan works for me too, it different and I like it! In terms of last name, shall we just do Boolprop?

Okay, so now we just need to decide on any plots of specific challenges we want to add... any ideas? So far, in terms of heir we decided to go with the traditional heir poll method!

Maybe each gen we can assign a task to achieve, for example master fishing, have 6 kids, etc etc. Anyone want to go ahead and assign one for the first gen?

Right okay so we've got two spaces left. I do think a 26 gen legacy will turn out lengthy and not ended up being finished so I do wanna cut it off at 10. If theres high interest we can always start up a second new legacy afterwards!!

As for the generational challenges, we could always use the random legacy roller

But RavenAngel's contribution is good too - I haven't done either of those things yet in game!

I see what you did there! *is a huuuge Hellboy-verse fan*

Me and a friend once pondered on a Sims 4 round robin, I'll go and take a look which challenges we made up

Edit: I found our list. Here's what we thought of

The Serial Murderer - have 10 graves (and roaming ghosts) on your lot
The Black Widow - Marry at least three times. Every spouse may only father one child and has to be “divorced” by death.
Diverse Genepool - every child must have a different father/mother
The Collector - complete at least one collection
Home Cooking - have a sim cook all home-style base-game fridge/oven-recipes (You can find a list here)
The Grand Savior - rescue 3 different sims from death
The Mean One - Aquire 10 enemies and maximise one of the evil careers (both criminal branches OR the villain/secret agent)
Big Family - have and raise 10 children
The Know-A-Lot - have your heir maximise at least 5 skills

So many awesome contributions towards generational challenges!! I feel like there's sooo many possibilities. How about to make it simpler, we let each person decide their own 'challenge' from the suggestions? I feel that may be a bit more of a decisive method.....

I was thinking in terms of generational challenge for the first generation... How about having a high number of kids? That's always hard with lawn living? I was thinking 5 kids? And having Johan reach the top of his chosen career path?

Yeah, as much as this is a collaborative legacy and we decide some things together... each generation should have the players own little twist and personality mixed into it. The generations and story writing dont need to flow neatly together.

It's all just for fun, and im sure we're bound to get some crazy challenges and stories out of everyones input! It's going to be awesome, Im so excited to start!

Omg I'm so excited, almost all the slots are filled and we haven't even started!

Our founder is now named Johann Krauss and he's live in the gallery! My username is Sammysama7 and make sure you have custom content enabled to download him. His custom eyes and eyebrows should be the only major CC on him but the deep red eyes are in the default colors as well so it shouldn't conflict with anything.

Im not a CC nerd with the sims 4, but do i need to download the eyes seperately or will they download with him from the gallery?

So, how do we take over generations? Will we be getting the whole family, just the founder, the house? And what about the starting conditions?

We will upload the full family and lot to the gallery and download from there. Obviously only the 'main' family, no need to be downloading all the spares and that.

As for starting conditions.. shall we just go with normal legacy rules? Anyone got any they want to add in?

I'm not ENTIRELY sure but I think that since the eyes are a default overlay, they shouldn't download. I can always find them on modthesims and link you if you want them, if not, they'll just change back to the normal base-game eyes when you download him.

I'll be 100% honest and say I had to Google that reference when it made you so excited lol. I did watch the movie a while back though so maybe the name got stuck in my head, but he just seemed like a Johann Kraus to me... Kinda glad it did link up to Hellboy though cuz I really enjoyed watching that! [emoji3]
