As the title says this is the Doodle Legacy! I got the Sims 4 at christmas and recently decided the best way to explore the game was to start a legacy.
After reading loads of sims 4 stories on boolprop I decided to share my own

I've been getting caught up on this today. Very sweet legacy!

I like Shawna and Darian together, and I applaud you for being ambitious enough to have a wedding party in the first generation . . . and then scoring gold on it, no less! Impressive. I have a sim in labor dancing in the chapter that I am working on writing right now, and I agree that they are bizarre and hilarious. Doesn't seem like it would be the best choice, but I'm not a sim so maybe I just don't understand. I love how bad at cooking Darian is, even on vacation! Oh geez, the monobrow - I just about lost it! I love how many parties you throw. Now who to vote for? Great job with these chapters!

Haha yeah even though I joke about Darians cooking and his nose I do really like him and Shawna together. All the autonomous flirting just melts my heart.

Why thank you, I have been trying harder with parties. The only one I missed and feel really bad about was Shawna's birthday to adult - she had a sad moodlet for birthday forgotten It was because she got pregnant just before aging up so she aged up like five minutes after giving birth! It's funny I am not the only one that has sims dancing their labour away. You are right - must be a sim thing! I just can't imagine wanting to dance whilst in labour.

Hahah I was not expecting the monobrow on Ronan at all! He was such a cute kid

Your commentary in this chapter was especially funny. I really enjoyed it, and it looks like Ronan is making good progress as the heir, even if he does nap in the bathtub. Aw, Kassandra was so close, and her PJs were hilarious. It's too bad she's not suitable anymore - you could have dressed her in all stripes. Good luck with finding a good spouse for Ronan! Hopefully India won't become old right away too. Great chapter; very enjoyable!

Yeah I felt really bad about Kassandra. Walter was becoming a bit of skilling slave so I thought he could do with something other than skilling for once but Kassandra ruined those plans by aging up the day after! Glad you enjoyed it! Your compliments are much appreciated

Aw, I really loved this chapter!

The twins are soooo cute! I'm sure it's frustrating to get twin boys with your heir laws, but at least they're adorable? India is turning out to be a great mother, too. Darian's death was both sad and funny. Some sims just do not have a clue when it comes to death. Oh my god, I laughed out loud at the triplets. You poor dear, and especially with a child-hating parent. Do you have an odds-modifying mod or are you just extraordinarily (un)lucky with India's fertile trait? I guess at least now you know there will be a choice for heiress! Geez, triplets. That's hilarious for me, but probably not quite so much for you. I'm looking forward to seeing how you handle it!

The twins are adorable and I am actually a bit sad they can't be counted for heir I know, poor Darian. I am finding it a little strange after Sims 2 where everyone would come running to see things like deaths and birthdays but I have to force my sims 4 to notice things haha! I couldn't believe the triplets! I don't have any odd-modifying odds. I don't have the fertile trait. I saw the second name pop up and I was already a little bit surprised getting twins in a row so when the third name came I was just laughing, I couldn't believe my luck

The Doodle Legacy ~ Chapter 8 new update!

Wow! Your patience has been tested, and I think you passed. Twins and triplets is such a handful, and I can't even imagine the crying. The kids are all so cute, though! Ronan and India make very pretty children, and you got quite the variety in personalities as well. I feel you on the dollhouse smashing. It is super annoying, and I always make my child-hater clean up her mess too! It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't upset the kids, though. I laughed at your comment about the dollhouse when Jim rolled the child-hating trait too. Ugh, they make awful siblings, don't they? Great job completing aspirations left and right! I enjoyed the chapter, and I think you've done a wonderful job with a very full house!

A note on the blog format - for me, some of the captions ran off and were cut off by the background. This could just be me, but I wanted to let you know just in case. I could still read the vast majority of the story, obviously.

Yes, my patience has definitely been tested I am very happy they are all grown up now, although I am sure that will bring with it more hard work! Next generation will probably be a max of two children haha I suppose it was worth it as they are very cute.

The dollhouse is annoying but I suppose once the girls age up it won't matter so much. It is such a shame that Jim has the child-hating trait because he used to have such a good relationship with his sisters!

Oh dear, thanks for letting me know! None of the captions are cut off when I look at the blog post so I am not entirely sure what is up with it but I will keep an eye on it and maybe ask others if it's the same for them. All this blogging feels so new to me. I have written sim legacy stories before (well started them ) but that was on the sims 2 in game story teller which was easy to use haha. Hopefully I will figure it out!

I know what you mean about being new to blogging. I started out writing in the in-game story function too, then moved to slideshare, and am now working on changing over to blogs. Too much technology! Out of curiosity, I checked your chapter again and now it is showing up fine for me. I have no idea what the difference is - same computer, same browser. Sorry for alarming you.
