So, I now have several neighborhoods going.
I started one, and was writing it up, and then I got AN IDEA!
New neighborhood. New story. Having fun. BING! An IDEA!
New neighborhood. New story. Having fun. BING!

You get the idea.

However, my latest idea (a "Single Mother Adult Start Apocalypse) is going strong! I'm working on CHAPTER 10!

My plan was to post the PowerPoint presentations on YouTube, but I lost my recording program on my old computer, sometime in... 2022? 2023? I should check my channel. So, I'm thinking I might just do the Slideshow without me reading it. OR, can I use Powerpoint to record myself, and then somehow post that to YouTube? Anyway, I'm still figuring out the logistics, and REALLY bogged down with the whole "figuring out" process, because I CANNOT STOP PLAYING THIS FAMILY!

So, maybe I'll just post the PowerPoints, as is, without voices. Probably just as well. I'm no voice actor, and I suck at accents, let alone different voices. Hopefully, the "voices" come through in the writing, well enough.

I'm not sure WHERE to post,though. I don't have accounts anywhere but YouTube. Any suggestions?

Also, please tell me I'm not the only one who is so indecisive about which sims to play! It's not that I don't love my previous sims. I'm actually quite fond of them. I really like my second attempt at a college start apocalypse, in fact. And I have PLANS for my neighborhood with the first attempt at a college start. Actually, my writing style changed for all three. Haha! I just got really sucked into this adult start. Maybe that's the reason. I jumped right into the deep end, instead of doing all the prep work. I'm actually taking my time and "enjoying the apocalypse." I'm playing another family, with AGING OFF, just so that I can get more "apocalypse living," with only a few lifts, because struggling is fun??? I'm weird.

Anybody else do that? Make things unnecessarily hard for your sims, not for the sake of a challenge, but just because you ENJOY IT?!

Wait, am I a sadist? Oh, NO! THE HORROR!

I don't want to think that about myself. But I have to admit, I do enjoy throwing monkey wrenches at my pixel people. I wouldn't dream of throwing a wrench at a REAL person. Don't worry.

SEriously, though, any suggestions about where to put PowerPoint presentations? I need someplace EASY, for the non-technologically inclined, that won't DISAPPEAR ON ME! I USED TO Have an account with Authorstream, and I USED TO have an account with Slideshare, and just because my computer goes FLOOEY, everything I had ever done there just up and DISAPPEARED. I cannot find it, and I'm the one who POSTED IT! Old logins don't work. It's like I never existed. I hate it. So, that's why I'm looking for someplace new, and I would really appreciate some good recommendations.

You are not alone in starting multiple things or making things harder for yourself. You will likely find many of us are like that around here, I know I certainly am. I just keep starting more challenges too, but I really need to "finish" some, so that's my ultimate goal right now.

Glad you found somewhere but you could always use, wordpress or blogger which are free. Yes i have a two challenges and uberhood to play, not much as other people but there is always something that i want to do. So i have to restrict myself, my computer doesn't like to have to much stuff on it, which is good, cos there is always something that i would love to download. Like a new neighbourhood i am not very good at building and putting deco stuff on it.

Wordpress or blogger, huh? That's great!
But, you know? After losing ALL of my previous posts on other sites, I kind of like the power of OWNING it. PLUS! I can "build a brand."

My late sister told me I should start up an advice column, "Ask Aunt Loopy," where I give loopy advice. Or maybe good advice, but given in a loopy way. At least, something to think about. And compared to some of the PAID advice columnists out there, I might not even do worse.

I saw one, once, who told a reader, who was nervous about spending her first weekend with her lover, and HE MIGHT FIND OUT THAT SHE POOPS, because she couldn't hold it all weekend long, and did she have any suggestions for how to HIDE the fact that she has a functioning body from this man with whom she was planning on making much hot jungle monkey love, the PAID advice columnist, with years of experience, gave her advice on how to block the noise and the smell. Not, "If you're not comfortable pooping with a closed door between you, and letting him know that you're an actual living human being with a fully functioning body, then you are not ready to have sex with this man, or any man. GROW UP."

So, yeah. I think I'm just about as qualified as anyone else, and mine will be free, anyway, and hey! Free advice!

And I can post my sims stories, and anything else I decide to create.

Maybe I'll design a D&D adventure, and post it up there, as well. I have IDEAS!

And, as long as I pay the annual subscription fee, THEY CAN'T TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME!

See, THIS is why I like to buy my music and games ON THE DISC! I've bought games from the Apple Store, and loved them AND the sequel, and then... GONE. "We're not supporting it, anymore, so it doesn't matter that you 'own' your copy of the game. IF your computer breaks, and you need to re-install the game, well, sucks to be you, because we're not even keeping the old stuff up for download, anymore. Oh, well. Shoulda bought it on DVD."

"Of course, late Sims 2 and early Sims 3 came with "SecuROM" on their discs and this "funny," thing where "You can install it up to FIVE TIMES! AFter that, it's useless, because why would you install it more than five times? Are you SHARING?! NOBODY has to install it multiple times on their OWN computers!" It's not like we, I dont' know, UPGRADE over the course of twenty years!

I love the Sims, and (almost) all their products. I HATE EA Games. I sold my stock, at a loss, just to be free of them, that's how much I hate that company.

I heard of a guy who got a job with "some software company," that refused to fix a simple line of code. Just kept refusing to fix the line of code. He got a job with them, got access, fixed the code, and quit before lunch. THAT'S HOW MUCH HE WANTED THAT ONE LINE OF CODE TO BE FIXED.

I have my suspicions about the identity of that company.

I have the sims 2 discs original ones, and my partner who is good with partners, always helps put back on a new computer it takes a while to do that now. Yeah EA is all about the money money money now.
