Issue staying logged in

I am having an issue on the forum staying logged in. Anytime I close the browser and come back, I have to re-log in. I do have it checked off to auto-log in too.

I moved the thread to Boolprop Central - Suggestions, as this isn't about Sims.

The "Remember Me" setting is on, and it's set not to expire. I can't find anything in the forum settings that can explain why you are being logged out after a forum session. I have notified Teresa in case she can do something.

I have no problems staying logged in, and I use both Edge and Firefox. Have you looked at your cookie settings, that your browser accepts cookies and doesn't delete them when you close it. If all that is fine, you could try to find the boolprop.net cookies and delete them, then log in here again and see if that helped.

I checked the settings also, and Cor is right that there isn't any reason for it to be auto logging you out. I use Firefox and Chrome and it has not been logging me out either.

Edit: Clearing out the browsing hx and cookies did not help.

Don't be sorry, it was just the forum being confusing. You posted in the right place. I think the "forum help" part under the Sims section was a leftover from an earlier time. I have corrected it.

Peachy has mentioned that she and her partner have the same problem since a Windows update. I googled it and found others with the same or similar problem.

I can't test the suggested solutions since my browsers remember my logins.

Is Boolprop the only affected site?

Are you sure you aren't using the private browsing mode? Maybe a stupid question, but then the browsers will not remember logins.

Have you checked the security settings in the browsers, in case an update changed them?

This is the only site having an issue. I am not in private browsing or incognito mode. My security settings were checked yesterday and I did accept the cookies from the site when it asked after logging in after clearing everything.

I checked all three of those links and all of my saved passwords are fine. I have read through and tried a couple of options with no luck.

I think I have found the problem. I deleted the Boolprop cookies in Firefox and logged in. The forum didn't give me a new cookie!

We'll fix this soon.

That's really interesting. I know it had been a few months since I last logged in, so maybe it was the server update and me clearing out cookies before re-logging in recently.

I disabled my adblocker for Boolprop in Firefox, and then Boolprop gave me a cookie, but it still doesn't keep me logged in. But Edge keeps me logged in.

Been getting a weird message, it says ERROR You do not have permission to perform this action. I have no idea what that is but it's been kicking me out of Boolprop if I minimize my browser window and close my laptop screen.

Hey, update the bookmark to https://boolprop.net It worked for me and remembered my login. The old link was the less secure http://boolprop.net
