I need to write more. I'm changing my entry to a smaller goal and no story mentioned. I do this because 5k was too daunting for me and Forest Names challenge is coming to an end sooner than expected and is a commentary not a story.

I love writing in Dutch, but I'm quite insecure about writing in English. Now that I have tried it for about a year with my BACC and later my name game, too, I'm trying to challenge myself by joining SimNaNo. I feel like 10,000 words should be doable, but it takes some dedication. I'm probably going to regret this later

A little bit about why you picked the goal you did (not required, but highly encouraged so we can support each other!): I want to challenge myself to get back into writing more of a story, somewhat plotty somewhat slice of life. Basically do something narration style over commentary. I’m not sure how many pictures I’ll take since I haven’t started this story, but I figured 500 was a good starting point. Last year I really struggled with my picture goal, so much so that I ended up adding additional challenges just to reach it. Since I want to focus on just this one challenge, I lowered it. I’m bad with picture taking, so 500 is still going to be a challenge to me.

Well it is time I pulled my finger from out of my but - the last time i did any serious playing or writing is nearly TWO YEARS ago - I would like to say the 50,000 word goal because I know on a good day (mentally) I am more than capable of it - but i am constantly stuck in bad day mode, so I am going to say 25,00 words. Bearing in mind I have written nothing for so long - I need to ease myself back in gently - and even doing any writing at all for me at the moment will be a chore to start with!! I am not putting a picture count on this because my "pet hate" with simlit is having to supply screenshots, which has always held me back when really I would love the freedom to just write and maybe only supply one picture for each chapter of waffle that i create!! I know that wont be possible if I do one of the challenges, be I definitely dont want to be counting pictures.

A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: I've been more than a bit out of the loop lately, the pandemic has done a number on my mental health. I miss simming, so I'm trying to get myself back into gear. I want to finally tackle the Halloween challenge that has been going on since, well, Halloween, so I could get back to my bigger challenges. It's probably not realistic to try to complete the thing in July, with my pace. But since the updates are fairly short (around 30 pictures and 700 words) and I'm on vacation half the month, I figured I could try to go for three updates.

You absolutely can change your story up! There's no trouble. Right now I've not made any banners so people can adjust and decide on things as they go before July even starts - so if anything it's just me adjusting some things on my spreadsheet!

A little bit about why you picked the goal you did: my posts usually average around 20-25 pictures and around 300-400 words, so I'd really like to push myself into more of a steady commentary and produce longer updates with more pictures!

8 Chapters, spread out over the month. Each post should have at least 1000 words, and 20 pictures.
I have all 8 chapters set up picture wise, and half already have the story written, the other half is in outline form... so these are basically bonus posts. I got really into the story on this one in the last week or two, and am too excited about them to wait until August to post them, so adding them to Simnano only makes sense. This should raise my total chapters posted for the month to 39 posts - so the 25k word total goal of mine should be well within reach.

Personal Goal: Going to attempt 50,000 25,000 words since I tend to take lots of pictures but don't always do long captions.

Why did I pick it? I picked my BACC because I haven't been playing it much and I'm hoping that having it as my SimNaNo story will help me to actually keep playing it.

Challenge 2: Uberhood No specific goal for my Uberhood, I'm just enjoying playing it so I tend to pick it over my BACC, so I might as well count it towards SimNano

EDIT: Added some new challenges to try and hit the 50,000 25,000 word mark because I tend to do a lot of low caption posts, so it'll be nice to push myself to write more. Goal: My goal is to focus on trying to take more pictures for my updates so I'd like to have 90-100 pictures per update. I would also like to finish this OWBC by the end of the month.
Why did I pick this goal: I'm REALLY bad about not taking many pictures while I'm playing and tend to end up with gaps in the timeline when I get ready to post. I realize I don't have a single toddler picture of one of the kids, or I didn't take any photos of the kids graduation from high school. I'm also going to try to take better notes as I play so I have a few extra things I can add into the text too.
