Tiffany Riley "I'm Leaving!" Bug

Maybe this has happened to someone here or a similar thing may have happened to someone but with a different townie.
Regardless, I need help! :hissyfit:

Here's the bug:
Image

It looks normal, yes, but Tiffany Riley is not even on the lot:
  • She won't come when food is set out and I can't find where she may be stuck if she was somehow stuck hiding in a weird place.
  • Only one sim even knows her and I'm pretty sure she hasn't even come home from school with him.
  • I have unlocked all of the gates with access to normally family-only areas and deleted and re-put elevators.
  • The fact that the game let me delete the old elevators is proof she's not stuck there!
I click OK and a minute later it's back. >.<
  • I tried getting the one sim to call Tiffany over and she's not even in his list of people right now, as if she IS there.
  • So far as I know it only happens on this lot, since this just started today and I've just been playing with this one family.
Update: Went to another house and it is not having this problem.
  • Also, before I left the bug house, I tried growing up the baby. It would go through the motions of blowing out the candles(with mom's assistance) and then they'd both have this weird herky-jerky seizure and he just stays a baby. Related?
Putting this family on super-speed is a nightmare, since every time this box comes up the game pauses and you can't click on any other buttons while it's up, effectively keeping your sims stuck in super-speed until you shut down the game via task manager.

Anybody have this happen to them? Have any de-bugging ideas? Please respond.

Remove off-world loiters with the batbox, maybe?

Thanks for responding Heather!

Is there any way to fix this without resorting to more cc?

What about moving the family out and back in from neighborhood view?

Thought about that, or something similar.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to move all of the house-stuff into their inventories, move everybody out, and put down a fresh lot somewhere down the row of houses.
Seems to be the best bet(has worked in the past) but I DON'T WANNA. :hissyfit:

UPDATE: This issue has been fixed! :celebration: :drinks: :bounce:

Re-set the baby so stay tuned for the results of that. :P

-I decided I'd rather not have to rebuild the house if it was possible to avoid it. As mentioned before, I also didn't really want to risk introducing any strange TS2 CC, just given the age of TS2 and how reliable the stuff might still be or any unknown glitches or bugs that might now be lurking.. :nono:
The neighborhood is set up to be very particular about having all of the houses look identical (from the exterior anyway) and re-building was going to be a last resort but I was very much afraid it was going to come to that anyway.

BUT resetting the baby fixed that non-growing-up issue rather neatly and he's now fine & dandy.
So to start all of their stuff DID get moved off into inventories and then they all moved off the lot.
-I decided to try putting the house in the house-bin and moving its location on the street to see if that made any difference. (really didn't expect any difference TBH)I assumed that the bugginess went right down to the house and lot itself. But I was wrong! :celebration:
- I put the same house from the bin back on the street but in a different spot "downstream" so to speak.
-I then moved all of my sims back onto the lot, but I didn't put their stuff back until I had a chance to wait and see if Tiffany Riley would rear her ugly head.
And.. she didn't! We're good, baby #10 got to get older and not a single whisper of "I'm Leaving" since!

And so to end this particular charade I'd like to thank everyone that pitched in with their ideas and advice. :toast: Y'all.
