This is my third Sims 3 challenge that I'm running simultaneously, which is probably proof that I need my head examined. Also, I need to find a way to build a sig that isn't as large as my screen.
This is challenge inspired by the Nothing Is Free challenge. However, I have discarded the skilling requirements for building new lots and replaced them with a sort of Apocalypse-esque set of restrictions that seem logical to me for life in a world with limited resources. Then I started tweaking some other stuff, and then I just had to face that it was a new challenge, which I am calling High Cost of Living.
The rules for the High Cost of Living Challenge are here.
The setting is an emptied-out Sunlit Tides, which I have to say is breathtaking. Kudos to EA for this world. I've added some spawners to include things from the expansions.
This is also a Six Degrees of Separation challenge. Heirs will not be related by blood, and I'll be switching households every time I change generations. Six Degrees of Separation is the first really different way I've found to change generations in a multi-generational challenge.
