Here is my attempt at the Monster Mash challenge! It's already completed, because I had the pleasure of being the TS2 guinea pig.

Wow, that was too easy in Sims 2. And you can turn teens into zombies, I did it in my Quest for Peace legacy with Gvaudoin Tricou. (I actually remembered how to spell her name 0_0) Anyway, I chose the harder path with Sims 3, I think I will need at least five generations to get all ten occults in it so it's like a half legacy. Nice going being :#1: !

It's pretty much luck based, honestly. I had to turn to cheats to get my legacy founder's wife to turn into a plantsim, but it only took one night for my black sheep to do it here. The wolf is the hardest part, simply because I had the leader of the pack show up maybe 3 times over the course of the entire challenge. Never got my genie lamp, either...

Good luck with yours! You may have the honour of being the first TS3 player to complete it. :D

Oh my gosh! I love it! I just finished reading. I would totally jump in if I wasn't being a crazy person about getting gold for SimNaWriMo!
Spoiler:
I have to say, you mentioned that your monster sims may be too conventionally good looking, but doesn't that make them even better? It's like putting arsenic in a milkshake. It's sweet and alluring, but will kill you. Carrot and spear instead of a stick :)

Thank you! :) I'd definitely recommend holding off on the challenge until SimNaWriMo is over; I definitely lost motivation to go for gold and silver medals by working on this instead of my legacy chapter. :shifty:

And I love that way of putting it, lol. Arsenic in a milkshake.

You made it look so easy! I've went and ordered Apartment Life so I can try this challenge in my BACC (or just in TS2 one of the other neighbourhoods if I can't wait) and had to give yours a read for inspiration
Spoiler:
I love Elphaba, it's so interesting to see her change with each lifestate - for some reason I though werewolf and vampire wouldn't be able to go together but I think I'm confusing that element of Skyrim with Sims (I don't know how but there you go)

This is so cool! Now I want to do it with my own sims. But, golly, I have so many stories going right now...

Anyway, it was a really fun read!

All of my other projects should be moved to the graveyard. But I have a new computer, at last! WOOOOT!

That was a fun read! It looks like a fun little challenge. Maybe I'll do it this year around Halloween to get into the spooky spirit.

I'm reading this now and I've got to say, great minds think alike! The "dad" in my immortal teenager challenge is Frank Stein :P I'm curious to see where this headed, good call on making the founder a witch!
