Iya - Thank you very much! Of course I've come over to the new Boolprop, wouldn't miss it for the world! :)
Michelle - Thank you! I'm glad you're still enjoying it.

It's been a while (although I'm still playing!), so here's an update!

Yay, an update! I have missed this one.

My sister says that Sims stories like this are boring, without the drama and challenges of real fiction. I tried to explain that sometimes, we're not writing for drama, but simply to display our skills at summing, especially in a challenge. She still didn't get it. Whenever something goes right, she thinks of it as some easy-out (like a good chance card, for example). Meanwhile, whenever she does play, she loads up on the mods and hacks to make it super-easy. So, she just doesn't get that there is real skill involved in playing these challenges.

Ummmm, I had a point with that, but it's 1:30 in the morning, and I really do need to go to bed. Anyway, I like this very much, and look forward to the next update!

The Walkers are an awesome family!
Spoiler:
I like the kind of nautical look you gave to teen Hannah, given her LTW :)
The picture of Christy and Mary Gavigan returning from work in their swat uniforms is great. Don't even go messing with the women of Blueberry Island!

Spoiler:
Thanks, Michelle! I like Sims stories like this, because it's fun to see how others play. But sometimes I find them boring as well. Depends what mood I'm in, I guess. :P
Jenn
Spoiler:
Thanks, Jenn!
Lorin
Spoiler:
They're really a lot of fun to play!
Ha, that wasn't even intentional (I think). I do like her look though, and now I like it even more.
Darn right! Blueberry Island women are fierce!
Thanks for your comment, Lorin!

There's a new update!

Spoiler:
Congrats on Blueberry Island's first set of twins - I love the little boost they give the population! Do you ever use cheesecake or just let them come naturally? (So far I just do natural, but I'm not opposed to cheesecake either.) It also looks like girls are starting to outnumber the boys :neener:
I think Amin rocks the rocker look! I just moved the Ramaswamis into Mesa Vista, so it's funny for me to see Sanjay dressed like that. (Also not sure if Music really suits him, but I haven't taken him out of the career yet...)
I'm sure you've mentioned it before, but how do you calculate taxes?
Nice update!

Thanks Lorin!
Spoiler:
I haven't used cheesecake up until now, and hardly ever use it anyway, actually. Not that I'm opposed to it either. :) I just let it happen naturally, and I'm not that often rooting for twins anyway, haha!
Yesss, that's definitely true! Remember when I was all worried about Julia having all boys at the start of the BaCC? It's now 7 girls to 4 boys. At least, up until this update. In my game another girl has actually been born!
Sanjay as a rocker is kind of weird, isn't it? Hadn't even really thought about that. I was just happy with another best friend. :P
I combine the lot value, the household fund and (if the household has any businesses) the business value, and then I take 5% of that combined number. :)

Spoiler:
Oh, that's bitter and sweet. TWINS! Yaaay! Having no one at all show up to the party. BOOOOH!

And I love the toddlers "strangling" the poor cat.

Having 20 best friends - I find it's easy enough to do with a cell phone and many many many trips downtown. Because the relationships don't fade while you're downtown, so you can spend as much time as needed just chatting with them.

I love downtown outings. They have so many benefits.

And now I am inspired to try another BACC. My old one went when my computer Poofed. But I'm going to try again.

Spoiler:
The twins were a really fun surprise, yes, but the party was indeed a pretty big bummer... Poor Amin!
Toddlers and pets are just so cute together!
I guess it would be easier with a downtown, but Blueberry Island doesn't have one, and probably won't get one soon (or ever, haha!)
BaCCs are so much fun! I love playing them :)
There's another update!

Such a nice family!
Spoiler:
I love how Zoe and Thalia are turning out - both unique and pretty!

It doesn't take long for the finances to improve once you get on the promotion track. I do like how taxes can keep that in check when you don't want all your households rolling in dough, and then there's always upsizing the houses when their families grow for a bit more challenge. I'm running into needing larger houses for some of my families too. I like the look of yours and can always use ideas, since I would rather spend my time playing than building - would you mind posting an overhead shot of both Harris houses?

Thanks, Lorin!
Spoiler:
I'm very pleased with Zoe and Thalia as well! I'm curious to see the other kids Stella and James will be having.

It's quite easy to get a family a bit more money, that's definitely true! That's indeed part of the reason I like the tax system so much.
As for the houses, of course I'll post them! There's actually an overhead shot of the old house in a earlier update, so I'll post that here quickly (if you need a better shot, let me know):
Image
I'll send you a picture of the new house as soon as I'll get around to it. I'm currently at my parents' place, so I can't open up the game right now. I'll PM you as soon as I've got the pic!
Thanks for commenting, Lorin! :)

I had the pleasure of reading through your BaCC - and Apocalypse - today! Spent the whole afternoon creepin' on your Wordpress in fact. :sly:

Blueberry Island seems so peaceful and lovely! Not to mention how fast you seem to be unlocking stuff. I'm totally inspired. :hearts:
