The Graham Legacy (minimum commentary) [Nov 25 2023]

Hi there!

After spending a year on a Zelda kick, I felt like getting back to simming. As if on cue, I was challenged to play without writing, and I very much liked the idea. Thus, the Grahams will be what I dub a minimum commentary challenge, meaning that I'll only post stats of family members and notes related to scorekeeping. Otherwise, it's just pictures!

It's a vanilla Pinstar Legacy (advanced rules), with a college start and no handicaps, and we'll be ignoring the pets category. I'm not supposed to write, so without further ado, let's get into it and see how far I can get!

Heh, I've been wondering that too. It's been a long time since I played a dorm, so now I'm not sure if this is how dormies always were or if these ones are particularly bad at taking care of themselves. I even had to move the stereo outside a couple times to wake up someone who fell asleep out in the cold...

I think the stereo is this one by NixNivis.

Omg, I love the dormie antics. It's been awhile since I've played college. I love seeing all the flirting, floor sleeping, and pranking in the background. Looks like Addie is well on her way to being a great founder!

Heh, yeah, a lot of antics going on. It's been a while since I've played college, too, and now I'm wondering whether dormies were always this bad at taking care of themselves or if these ones are particularly bad. Addie is doing well, thankfully!

Hi Lorinsv! Great to have you here! Yeah, no handicaps and also no pets category, as it felt like those would mostly be a pain in the butt. I wanted something really relaxing to play, I'm hoping to have a real "just for fun" legacy that doesn't turn into a project or chore. So far so good, I'm having a lot of fun!

I'm looking forward to seeing the points accumulate too. Even though I don't write, it's still fun to take and share pictures, too.

Heh, yeah, that was fun. The streaker stuck around for a while as Addie talked to her before she could run off the lot. It was funny how she went about her business like everyone else, played pool and danced badly to the stereo.

There are a little bit of points already! Little by little.

And since I'm excited about my new challenge and not slowed down by writing, update 1.3 is here already!

Really like the founder, she's a cutie, college years seem to be going well. Even found a love already. For a second I wasn't 100% sure the proposal was a yes, but glad to know it was. Nice to have the genie lamp to get some extra funds. Although they probably aren't hurting too bad for money. Nice updated house though. Doing great with the rewards already! More nice updates to the house for the new warlock and baby. Alice is a cute little girl, takes after her daddy with her OTH. All right, a new baby on the way, and hey, almost up to 5 points! Great job! Seems like you are having fun.

Thanks, I thought it was nice too, and Alice is a little cutie. Yeah, it's just a day away from the new baby, but I thought to cut off sooner rather than later, so that the update doesn't become too long. Anyway, soon to be two kids!

Yay indeed! So far it's been a lot of fun, it's a treat to just play for once.

Addie seemed to enjoy her college years, I know I did. It'd been so long since I'd last played college that it was really fresh. Addie actually had several two bolt matches, but I somehow liked Trevor best for her, and so far he too has been fun to play. The warlock thing spices things up, as he's sporting one of the custom LTWs from Lamare's huge set. The genie lamp was a nice touch, the family wasn't struggling without it, but it did speed up expanding the house a bit. Alice is a cutie, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the second little one turns out.
