TS4:
* The playable supernatural lifestates in Sims 4 are: alien blooded, ghost, temporary plantsim, vampire.
* You must start with a vanilla sim, and because of the lack of playable supernatural lifestates in Sims 4, you must achieve all four to get the points - so you need your black sheep to be alien blooded, a vampire, to have turned into a plantsim at least once, and to have been bought back into the family as a ghost.
So, I am looking at this for the first time, from the Sims 4 viewpoint, and I have some (one big one, the small ones can wait) questions/comments and would like to see if we can update this to make it Sims 4 playable.

First, the most important, is that Sims 4 won't let you have black sheep - they can't be vampire-aliens without mods or cheating - they have to be one or the other. They can be a vampire-ghost or an alien-ghost. They can do the temporary plant-sim, but I am not sure if a vampire or alien will have the option, or if it has to be a vanilla sim. A vampire and an alien parents would make a baby that would be one or the other. It would not create a hybrid containing elements of both parents.

Second, there is also a new temporary skeleton life-state that came out with Jungle Adventures - obtained by cursed relic. Again, I am not sure if it applied to vampires/aliens or just vanilla sims so I will add it to my testing also.

Any Sims 4 players that have suggestions, comments, please post them. :)

Teresa, I was wondering this too and I looked at the rules again. There is a small section at the top, not in the sims 4 section, that says they have to be 3 of the supernaturals. Maybe having a black sheep do those and give birth to an alien that comes back as a ghost?

So quick note: After having to reload and rebuild (again) with my sixth gen heiress I've gotten down to four occults in Sims 3 to go. I am hoping my seventh gen Mermalien Hyde will have enough human children to complete this in eight generations. Won't get the points for having 5+ generations but it's the only way to do it in Sims 3 AND still meet all the occults because Sims 3 has 11 of them to get.

Also I used Ambrosia on Augusta, not the kids so I guess that is sort of a loophole? Anyway, I've long since given up on points so I won't be scoring this.

We have mermaids now on TS4, can/will they become part of the challenge? I believe you can have vampire-mermaid hybrid Sims.

TS4 lets you have ghost pets, maybe that could be a fun extra for bonus points.

I have another question. I don't know if other occult or occult hybrids can become temporary plant sims or skeletons, does anyone know?

They probably will be added along with whatever new life states come with the Realms of Magic thing that's also coming out. When it's out the TS4 players can tell us what was added so we can edit them into the rules for Sims 4.

Hybrids will need some testing for sure (I've heard they're pretty glitchy), but I think the ghost pets as a bonus is a really good idea. Something along the lines of befriending one and bringing it into the family as a pet, maybe. :)

Not too long though, comes out early September! I play supernatural sims almost exclusively though, so as one of the mods that originally helped with the TS2 rule set for this, I miiiight end up poking around with the TS4 set a bit earlier to get mermaids added in. ;)

Mermaids have been added to the rule set, and I've been working on adding some extra bonus challenges for 4.

Rules have been updated for Spellcasters! I have also reduced the minimum amount of lifestates you need to gain in TS4, seeing as we got two new lifestates this year on top of the existing five. Looking to add some more bonus challenges once I have played a bit more with the new lifestates, but if anyone else has an ideas or feedback in the mean time member suggestions are more than welcome!

Hybrids will be considered 'unsupported' at this point, because from what I've seen, they're a little glitchy. Hybrid spellcasters-vampires seem to be missing the new charge meter, for example.

Made some updates to the scoring section:
  • The remaining bonuses that are limited to one game have been relocated to the mini challenges section (find them under Beam Me Up, and H2O, Just Add Water).
  • I have updated the rest of the scoring to include TS4, as new gameplay has made most of it possible.
  • I have also reduced the number of skills needed to earn 10 points for TS3/4, as TS2 only has 7 skills, and TS3/4 have double the amount. Will be adding a bonus mini challenge for TS3/4 players who max out all possible skills.
I will also be updating the TS4 section to add the new servo occult from Discover University, plus any other suitable mini challenges!

I did it the normal way, and my game was fine. I corrupted my game by having downloading to many big lots. Not to do with the monster mash challenge.

In honour of it being spooky month, I have updated the TS4 ruleset to include werewolves, and a few new mini challenges. Also working on clarifying some rules to make sure this challenge is balanced for all 3 games!
