Good luck. I always make up to the point where I have teens that can't do anything because everything is still locked.

Spoiler:
That's right. It's a womrat, not a rat.

Nice chapter! Good for Taz, stopping Cain from all the suicide talk. Although, I have to admit, there might be some problems solved if Cain wasn't there... naw. Probably he wouldn't be around to solve other problems. What a mess he's gotten himself into.

Good to see Eirene isn't alone around here, and that even if Fricorith can't be hanging around her all the time, at least she has Theia and Hex there to support her. I must've missed it--why doesn't she have her powers? Is it a universe thing?

Keika:
Spoiler:
Eirene has her white witch powers but in the Apocalypse her goddess powers are locked by the archangels. She can't use them to influence events. It's kind of like how in the TV series Xena the Greek gods were over powered by Michael the Archangel and they feared Xena and her child because the power to kill the gods came from the archangels in the final seasons.

Cain is just upset and feeling lonely because everyone around him is aging and dying and he's not so he wanted to take the easy way out. Until Taz set him straight of course.

Hey, it's an apocalypse. You have the right to take your time. :P
Spoiler:
Funny how the cat demands to know where the sock drawer is for the purpose of hacking up a hairball. Mine always does it in the walkway.

Good chapter! I loved Hope monologueing (SP?) to herself while she was doing yoga. She went through pretty much exactly what I would be thinking in her situation. :haha:

I'm betting on betrayal, demons, vampires, or some other variety of action in the next chapter or two. This one was quiet. Too quiet. The quiet of "I'm building up to something" feels. Especially with teens getting witched and seeing visions of the past. :shifty: (nice touch, by the way; I loved how you pulled that off, with the colors and shapes and specific selection of scenes)

Keika:
Spoiler:
My cat does it wherever he feels like it, the basement laundry room, stairs, my room, hallway, nearly ON MY BED *ahem* Yeah...

Hope is cute that way, only child of parents who were a little older than normal when she was born and of course she's bored with no school and stuff.

I'm still trying to figure out what the demons are going to do now that Theresa has the "old magic" back that they thought they had gotten rid of with Castiel. The planning of plot lines is haarrdd... I'm an on the fly writer and planning is not my thing. How do you sit on bombshells for a generation or three? I just can't do it. :(

Yes, it's so soon after the last one. And I will tell you now this episode was painful to write. It's also my longest one ever.

Spoiler:
Deaths can be really hard to write, especially when they happen to a character you've gotten to know. Those are the most effective ones, though, for plot purposes. ;)

That said, poor Adam! :O And boo on Xylen; what's he doing here? Shame on him!

Keika:
Spoiler:
The pain is just beginning  And that's always hard to work out if you don't have a plan, seriously I don't know how you do it. I can't plan, this first blow was hard enough to plan out... :faint: I left some clues about how Xylen came back, see if you can figure them out. That was also kinda planned... :shifty:

So, I just binge-read the whole thing. This is another one I started reading a year or more ago, and then somehow it fell off my radar, so I'm glad to see it updated again.

Very plotty! I'm loving all the drama. I always get a kick out of it when simselves are in the picture, too.

I'm so glad to see you're updating this again, Ani-Mei!

I'm on mobile so I just had a quick glance at the Pleasantview interlude - I'm certainly intrigued and when I get back to my laptop I'll read more!

Michelle:
Spoiler:
I know, the plot is very draining to write but I'm glad it's also engaging to a reader. It makes the sufferage worth while. Thanks for stopping in!
Nicola:
Spoiler:
I wish I hadn't lost my Apocalypse Pleasantview, the interlude had so much potential to go farther. Curse you M&G!! It was one of the few times I didn't follow suit and make Don Lothario a douche...*sigh* Thanks for reading.

Spoiler:
Yay, college!

I'm glad to see them all so happy and doing so well. But I feel as if this is just an interlude, and the drama-llamas will soon attack. The whole chapter had this underlying feel of doom hanging over it. YAY!

Spoiler:
Yeah I got them through college despite how long it always seems. And drama is indeed due I just don't know when yet. It's so close to the end that it almost seems like it was too soon.
