Eden in the Apocalypse is a Sims 2 Apocalypse challenge that follows the INappropriately named Eden family, because irony gives me the giggles.
Do you like copious amounts of CC? Bad puns? Dialogue between creation and creator? Then you’re in the right place!
(Originally inspired by EphermeralToast’s “Apocalypso a Go-Go” but it was very many years ago that I read it for the first time. And just now I'm getting around to making one of my own. Hahaha)
Just finished the college chapter, and will be back to reading chapter 1 later when I have more time! Your founder is so pretty!

Hehe I'm glad you thought my founder was pretty! I tried XD I may have a mild problem with spending hours clicking back and forth in character creation hehehe.
If you have any feedback I would love hear it, especially since you co-won the funniest story award last! OuO
Should have the next chapter up at least by Monday. Ironically weekends are super busy and i don't have time to sim as much XP

I'd say playing by an earlier set of rules is fine, I know some other people do. It's hard enough keeping the rules straight without having the worry about ALL the expansions, too!
I didn't know pets would lose relationship points over locked doors! As if we're still discovering things this many years after the game
That Natural Science outfit isn't really appropriate for a never-ending winter, is it? but hooray for lifting restrictions!
Tough call with choosing lifts, I'd say. Do you have ideas in mind for what you want to lift generally, or just going with the flow?

Haha pets usually dont loose points, turns out it was part of the glitch XP The dog ended up with like... -99 on both with Kevin and they'd never even met.
As for careers, I've got a general plan (I have a cute little journal I'm keeping next to the computer where I keep all my notes on things) but it's made to be pretty flexible because apocalypse challenges tend to not go according to anyone's plans but their own XD mostly its just stuff like 'i want to make sure to lift these three first' and 'save artist for last' etc.

Aw a total lack of nice points isn't all bad
I didn't think about just putting the car somewhere, normally faffing about with pillars and junk to put it in place!
I forgot that was the ridiculously neat vampire. Mopping up puddles in the snow!!
It might be the cc skins causing the skin issue, although I don't know much about it. Y could try the game help section for a solution, they might have one.

I've been offline for about two months. Here I am, freshly back online, and I find a brand new apocalypse! Hooray! I love reading them!

Your founder sure is pretty. I think the CC skin reacts weird to vampirism, but other than that, it's quite nice.
Yeah, kids can be SO WEIRD in their personalities! Good luck with the next one or two.
And here's hoping hubby-whatsisname gets his LTW, and stops being so ignored. One question, though. If he lifts Criminal, how will they restock the fridge? One snapdragon isn't really enough to keep them ALL alive, is it?
I really look forward to seeing more of this!

Oh! Thanks Sam, thats a good idea! And the cc skin might be causing it, yeah. Though I've never had this problem with that particular skin before. Or maybe I have and just don't remember it? *Shrug*

Michelle, hahahaha it can if cry hard enough! If I sell it the last Sunday before he reaches the top it should last until the kids are adults and have jobs. Then they'll be getting fed there instead of at home. Ive already found too that I don't have to feed them every day.

May be up to a week until next update, rehearsals plus playing other games *cough* overwatch *cough* means not too much time for writing. I've played ahead though, so maybe I'll have time to sit down and crank out a chapter in the next few days?
