That works, and I read your challenge! I say go ahead and give yourself points for the books since you didn't know/it wasn't feasible. I'm going to add a note to the rules that you just do the skills from the bookcase (parenting/physiology, etc). Besides you went above and beyond and maxed out each career you joined, so that more than shows effort for it!

For my challenge, I've decided to do a "practice run through" before I actually get to the main challenge. So basically I'm running through it with my teen as I would normally and whose name I have finally revealed, then I'll restart the challenge with a fresh copy of my teen and his guardian because I realized I had already messed up even before my first chapter. My guardian left the lot and went to the festival, picking flowers and selling them after draining their remaining funds on buying festival food. The new game file would not let me start them on a blank lot so I had to buy them a cheap starter house (which kind of felt like cheating) so I'd already failed it like twice.
Spoiler:
Also I wanted to try out my guardian's LTW of Gold Digger and it took me a while to find his victim I mean his loving rich spouse...and she hasn't had an "accident" yet. Although my guardian, being the ass that he is, already tried to kill her with a fire blast spell. Spoiler, he and my teen are witches because they are my favourite non-immortal occult type. I did make him have kids just to piss off his Dislikes Children trait, also to make Caspian have to work harder taking care of the twins he had with his spouse victim and her previous daughter from the her other relationship that my guardian ruined, because like I said, he's an ass.

The whole point of the challenge is to have fun!

You can have any house you want - prebuilt or lot where you build up with your funds! So that wasn't cheating!

However, you can't control your guardian sim! They should be treated like you're in an ISBI unless it's an emergency/you can't get them to come home from off the lot by using your teenagers phone for some reason.

Yes, I did have to reread the rules. I forgot a lot about them so technically I have already failed by controlling my guardian. When I redo it I won't touch him the second time. After this practice run, the first chapter will be a fresh file and new start.

You have to get all the different types of fish (even the jumbo ones) (you can put them on the wall so you can see which fish you have or take a screenshot of the inventory of your fish. The boot is one of the varieties of fish.

It will be the one one where you click on the neighbourhood. I hope that answers everything for you.

As long as you have 13 fish that's fine. You just have to have 13 of anything so you can have a couple of doubles if needed be. As sims 2 doesn't have 13 different fish (unless we count the fish in the fish tank lol) (here is my link to my immortal teenager viewtopic.php?f=248&t=5612).

FWIW, I don't think it's possible to create an unrelated teen and an adult in CAS in TS2, at least without mods.

^ Thank you!

Another heads up, I don't think Sims in TS2 can catch 13 different types of fish overall. There's only 4 types of fish (plus their jumbo variants) so that would be 8 fish at most. Should we leave it at 8, catch extra fish, or just replace it with a different activity?

I'm nearly done with the challenge (only have the plants left to grow) but how do I see the house value? And LTHP in TS2?

go into build mode and click on the house icon at of top the left hand corner and that will give you the value of the house and the LTHP is the reward/aspiration points that you have built up.
