At the same point, I feel we should avoid OVER-complicating this, seeing as we're already not allowed to use fruit to determine gender, and Julie said cheesecake was allowed for the Sims 2 players.
I've personally avoided the genie wish for a large family and the procreation elixir to stick to the "spirit" of the challenge, but I see nothing wrong with TV or music, especially because it would take a lot of micromanaging to ensure a Sim didn't have those things set already. Like for example I keep my in-game sounds off and I have a mod that removes the sound waves and musical notes (along with a lot of other things) from showing on stereos.
That would be a lot of work constantly checking to see if the stereo was on and what it was turned to. Not to mention stopping them from autonomously watching TV?
That's just my thoughts on it though.

It would be nice to have a kind of ruling on the music/tv thing. I haven't been using it, but I wanted to.
Personally, there doesn't seem to be any harm in it. You can't influence gender and while you may early on get a little advantage by more buck for your bang(tee hee), you still have to care for them all at once and later on it may prove problematic if you just keep getting one gender or a 2-1 gender ratio. Maybe there could be a mini-challenge or something that encourages simmers to have one child at time or to try and do things without influence of kids music/tv. Something like a One Step at a Time mini-challenge. Where it isn't a requirement, but you get bragging rights?
Also I really need to catch up to everyone! I don't even have one chapter yet!

I've used the radio.. the dad in my game was not created by me, and he is a kids' music lover with the party animal trait...so he's forever flipping on the radio to dance to kids bop. LOL It would be hard to avoid. But I'm not extending household size, so I don't feel guilty either, since it's not like I could keep twinning forever.
I recognised Cammie straight away and was like YES GIRL! GET IT. Then I remembered I still haven't caught up on your -now finished- OBWC (I am so behind)! I hope they have some girls, I'm getting second-hand worry in case they have a plethora of boys
Ani-mei - your house build was amazing! If you want to see a bad build check every game I've ever played You also need some girl so again I am at a worry for you fairy sims
Livvie - YOU HAVE SO MANY SMALL CHILDREN. I'd literally die if I had to look after so many toddlers. I mean, they are adorable. Haha, imagine if Liam HAD got pregnant? That house would have been nightmarish, I let out the biggest sigh when birthdays came about.

So many good babies and progress. I have to do work but I really want to play with my Boomers But all of your Sims 3 graphics and play is making me want to play TS3 instead of 4. 3 sims are so much prettier.
I've really been ignoring a lot of my stories in favor of this challenge (hence why these are coming so quickly)! I'm hoping to get in and knock this challenge out of the bag. It'll be my first Boolprop challenge completed!
Took a day off yesterday as I resubbed for Final Fantasy 14 again. It was horrible, if you recall (I'm sure I posted it somewhere), I busted my mouse wheel and had to wait for money to fall from the sky to replace it. I've been using a cheap emergency mouse that I located in some darkened corner of abandoned computer parts for the past week (and it barely works in Sims). My new one will be here tomorrow (Saturday), so today I'm catching up on reading and maybe loading up my game for an update.

Ani-Mei: I missed your first update. I have had a founder die by jetpack. Then when her daughter grew up SHE died by jetpack. I no longer allow jetpacks. Congrats on your two boys! Update 2: Yay, another boy and I wish my sims would ever win the lottery. I would use debugenabler/radius purge for invisible stuff, although your gazebo's are very handy to have.
Livvie: I wish I could get a boy/girl boy/girl run going. *goes and adds all the toddler stuffs to my game* The triplets are so cute! Your absolute control over your sims is amazing. Half the time I forget the kids exist and ignore them.
