Any copies of old legacies?
I used to be on this forum constantly back in the day when sims 2 was still making expansions and I was wondering if anybody knew where I could read 'the obsession legacy' or 'it's a legacy, baby!'- I loved those ones when they were coming out, and with the sims 2 website deleted, those went with it. So, does anybody have them archived somewhere or something? I'd really appreciate it if you did!

Many of the exchange stories were stored on this website, including the two you mentioned (though I think you meant "it's a legacy, darling!"). You can use Ctrl+F to search for them, I also recommend bookmarking the page for future reference.
I snooped around and discovered LucyPeps' Journal. It seems that when the exchange went down she continued posting her legacy on there, starting from Chapter 62.

Do you remember your Exchange name? That's usually a good place to start.

Bear in mind that not all of the exchange stories are there - mine aren't, for example, which is a shame. I'd enjoy the nostalgia and cringed a little (or a lot!)

Re: Any copies of old legacies?
What Sam said is true, there are some old Exchange legacies that were saved by others when they knew it was going down, but there were also a lot of others that weren't saved. Mine was one of them; I had just joined Boolprop in 2007 when I found out the Exchange was going down and I couldn't find a few of the legacies and challenges I was reading I didn't know how to convert my legacy chapters into whatever format they were using on Clockwatching, the site where the Exchange stories were being sent. I also didn't know how to make a PowerPoint and post it either. When it was going down, a lot of people started using other sites like LJ, WordPress and Dreamwidth which were blogging sites. So long story short, unless you have a saved copy of your legacy somewhere on a computer it's gone forever.

Yeah, mine aren't there either. I loved my Barbie Apocalypse and my Just a Legacy Legacy. *sigh*
