I have a quick question. I know the rules are/were that children need to age up naturally. Well, I had to move my family to a new town because overcrowding caused problems with the school. It's was an easy move and 99% went completely smooth. Only I have one set of twins and the one twin is now a day older than the other. I can't put any more mods into the game to fix it and I hate to see them age up separately. Would this be an instance ,where aging up the one twin to match the other, is rule break and/or challenge failure?

I personally don't see a problem with it Jess, because I think it's in the "spirit" of the challenge.

IF by chance you have NRAAS Master Controller already in, you can adjust the ages (I had to do that when I accidentally realized aging was turned off for a few days :shifty: :gasp: ) I keep good track of my ages always in case something goes wonky and NRAAS was able to fix it. If you DON'T have that then I don't see any problem with aging up manually around the same time as the "accurately aged" twin!

Nah, age the twin up at the same time. It's a game glitch, shit happens  In most challenges there's a rule that says going against the rules or cheating or whatever is fine to fix a glitch - I'll add that in to our rules too :)
Also idk if it helps at all, but I actually don't think we have a rule against aging kids up early :shifty:

Thai - it was in the original set!

Also, Thai, while I got you here, my other request got buried; what do you think about counting any completed LTWs by the children?

Thanks guys!

And I do believe I'm mostly playing with the old rules.

I'll make some edits to the main rules as soon as I get out of bed (which may be a while bc my house is FREEZING rn :shifty: )

But I'm thinking about adding points for kids on honour roll, reaching the top of teen jobs, etc. Kids completing LTWs is a bit strange to me though - you'd have to keep the kids in the home until they did whilst taking up space that could be used for more babies, wouldn't you?

I'm not too sure about TS2, but I know I've personally completed LTWs for teens in both TS3 & TS4 and even children in TS3. It is very possible if you start them young enough. Maybe it could be something in the vein of " For every child who completes their LTW before their young adult birthday gets x amount of points" ?

I think that would be a good idea for TS3 and TS4, but we'd need to have an equivalent way to earn points for TS2 since you can't choose the LTW and a lot of them are either career based or require having x amount of kids/lovers/woohoos, etc. They're much harder to complete as a teen in TS2.

Reaching Overachiever in TS2 might be something that would be good to get points for. At the moment as soon as the kids hit teens they're just hovering in the corner, it would be nice to have some sort of goal for them just before we can kick them out.

Maybe if they can become an overachiever you get a point and you can move them out early? Or maybe like become an overachiever and max two skills or something. The teen stage is always so long and boring and I tend to send teens off to college early in my BACC.

Thai - not at all! I've only had to keep 1 past adulthood so he could max a career, but so far I've had 5 children age up and 4 already completed their LTW. Then I've got 2 about to age up in 6 days that have already completed their LTW.
Also, seeing as mods to expand the household size were not against the rules I can continue having children in my household long after it has hit the "8" max.
