The Terra Nova City Council has decided to create a series of homes for the discerning first home buyer, especially catering to those who are just getting their start in life, this is the first of their homes.
Spoiler:
Upon entry into the house you see a blank space, perfect for envisioning a study, or perhaps a family area as there is room for growth with the home.
The first door that a home buyer might enter is the bedroom, in this case, it is set up for two sims, perhaps siblings who plan on living together.
And behind the door is a bathroom, set up with a private shower and toilet as well as a bath for those sims who might enjoy indulging in simple pleasures.
Back in the main room of the main level, it is time to go down stairs and see what awaits there.
As a potential homeowner descends into the lower level, they will see a simple loveseat and bookshelf, perfect for learning on the job or for the pleasure of a book.
And finally that leaves the kitchen, plenty of counter space, with all required appliances already installed.
Should a potential home buyer be interested, it is listed at the low, low price of 19,892 and as stated above, there is always room for growth with Terra Nova City Council Starter Homes

Okay, my 'starter' home is a 'girls only' themed pad, designed for that young, single and girly female sims living alone. The style is chic, but affordable, with a pink and white colour scheme. Lot Value, $21,000
[spoiler]
Starting off with the Living Room, you can see beautiful pink decorative wallpapers, plush white sofa's and a phenomenal fireplace. Perfect for those girly nights in watching movies with wine with the girls!
And at the back of the living room is a bit more open plan space for hobbies, such as reading and yoga.
Moving onto the bathroom, you'll find it simple, but fit for a princess. The pink tiles really add that royal princess look.
The bathroom comes fitted with a fullsize bathtub, with a wonderful window view.
The next room is the Kitchen. Small, and affordably decorated but with a comfortable and homely feel.
And last, but not least - the bedroom. The room is spacious, yet adequately furnished for a sim to live in style. From the princess bed, to the elegant dresser.
We can guarantee you wont have any issues sleeping in this beautiful bedroom.
And a little shot from the outside.

My original starter home was pink, but I noticed there were a few pink-themed entries, so I built a new house. My entry is a 16.5k house on a 2x1 lot.

My house, including the staging furniture and accessories, can be yours for just ยง19856!
Spoiler:
This home features a low-maintenance front yard, a major plus for young Sims starting out!
Around back is a covered patio, perfect for summer barbecues, plus it provides a welcome space for skilling, crafting and hobby pursuits, all protected from the elements (never mind that there's no rear-door access yet)! There's also a mature Breadfruit Tree, complete with hack to prevent it from catching eternal fire!
The front entry leads to a cozy living room that still has room for everything a Sim starting out could ever need!
There are window coverings throughout, and from the refinished hardwood floors to the charming front door, this home has many upgraded features!
Accent walls throughout add a welcome punch of color and interest to even the tiniest space!
Upgraded cabinets, sink and appliances in the kitchen!
The fridge? Of course, it's an older home, so even upgraded kitchens can have "unique" configurations without an entire remodel!
The cozy bedroom is conveniently located directly off the kitchen! ( )
The bathroom has been completely re-tiled in pristine white - no room for a sink, but hey, it's The Sims !

Who wouldn't want to start a new life in Sunset Valley living right by the beach? Well, a new tiny beach house just popped up at 9 Sun Song Avenue that could be perfect for you!
Spoiler:
This tiny beach shack has an open-concept first floor, a large upstairs bedroom, and a rooftop patio for soaking up those beautiful ocean views.
Bird's eye view of the first floor.
Bird's eye view of the bedroom and rooftop patio.
The cozy kitchen and dining area.
A little music and reading nook.
Tired after a long day of catching the waves? Curl up with some good old-fashioned television!
The bathroom may not be exciting, but it sure is necessary!
Climb on up the ladder to rest your weary bones and prepare for another day of fun in the sun!
Gussy up over in the beauty corner, then relax on your very own rooftop patio!
The perfect place to relax and grill up some delicious, freshly-caught fish!
If vegetables are more your style, there's even room for a tiny garden and a fire pit out back.
Just can't beat that ocean view!
Now, land near the beaches of Sunset Valley happens to be very expensive, so despite all the scrimping and saving that went into building and furnishing this lot, it's still a touch over $20,000. On the Sunset Valley lot I used, it was priced at around $23,500 (I forgot to note the proper value), but the copy I saved to my library has a value of $21,019. I really tried to keep it under $20,000, but it still looks like a starter home so...it still counts, right?
