I mean technically this is my costume from last year, but seeing as I didn't finish making the thing until late November, it can totally count as this year's, right!? I never finished the belt and really I need another petticoat, but I'm very proud of this!!

I pretty sure I'm going to be super lazy this year and just be Rosie the Riveter (so red bandana + denim shirt) and maybe I'll do a little extra arm workouts lmao

Also going the super lazy route this year. My friends and I bought animal onesies to wear to our thesis class... and I just found out my 13 year old cousin (who is almost 10 years younger than me) bought the exact same one. In the same size. I'm such a mature adult.

I got way too excited at the sight of this thread and am resisting the urge to link every costume project I've ever done, but I'll keep it simple and just share a few of my favourites.

So ever since I made my Mad Hatter costume I've worn it every year if I go somewhere for Halloween.

I now need to seriously rework it because I'm me, and also because parts of it got lost/broken with the years. What I'd change is I'd get another coat (this one barely fist on me anymore) and use not-so-cheap fabric paint unlike the first time. I'd resew the inside vest, buy new different vibrant colored socks because mine now have holes. I've practiced the makeup a lot and am trying to get everything I need and want to make it better.

Anyway, here is a picture.

I had started making a Loki costume shortly after the first Thor came out. I always liked the Loki character from the comics but wasnt fond of his costume, but the one Marvel made looked nice so I had mixed both oof their costumes from the movie + a little bit of the comic one + some of my own ideas. But seeing how so many people started fawning over the actor, I scrapped the project because I didn't want people to see me as yet just another fangirl and not see how many hours I had put into the project. Now I regret scrapping it because it was coming along nicely Oh well, I'll make it one day again.

I have some old photos from the last few years of my costumes! I tended to dress up a lot whilst at university as I always attended big events... but I dont know what i'm going to do this year as I'm in work. :p And no plans for the evening so....
