Thanks, Fiona! I think it will be a little bit of everything...prosperity meets legacy meets alpha legacy meets 100 baby meets Name Game meets a Queen Bee...wait I hadn't decided about the queen bee yet! But I want the pretty medal, so...

I am still new to Sims 4, how do you make a mega file? And is there a way to change the days in the life stages? I really don't want a toddler for 7 days...there's a lot I don't know about Sims 4 and it helps to ask those who play it.

The megafile isn't really anything more than playing more than one family in the world. I'll explain in detail in a minute...I will answer your easier question first.

There isn't a way to change the days in the life stages, like there is in TS3. You can, however, make a cake of any kind, add birthday candles and have the intended birthday sim blow them out...at any time.

The megafile part is a little trickier to explain...when you start a new file the game automatically takes you to CAS. I just created a sim and then placed them in a house. Then you go to the Options menu at the top right of your screen and choose "Manage Worlds" from this screen you can click on any house you want and play them. So for me, I am playing a bunch of houses in rotations, and one house is a legacy house, one house is a Name Game house, another is 100 baby, etc...I expect the file to get laggy at some point, but so far so good.

My Featured post, or introduction post, has the specifics detailed out...even if you don't want to do a megafile, it might help you familiarize yourself with the game mechanics a little bit.

I see, well that's a bummer about not being able to change the days span I actually liked doing that in Sims 3. And for the mega file, I currently have two houses in two hoods right now, my siggy pic is from the vampire hood and also my first Sims 4 toddler, I don't think she's a vampire but it may also not show up in the toddler stage if she was anyway.

If she's a vampire, the tab to bring up her needs panel will look different...it will look like a vampire with fangs.

Thanks, Theresa! I'm also hoping that I get medals at the end for completing all these different challenges...
Spoiler:
I know, right! But on top of that my hood is full because of MC command, and lots of those ladies are going around preggers! I just hope my game doesn't get laggy.

Oh definitely on the medals. I need to make a list of the challenges I want to include. I have have a template save file, where I have added businesses and houses to all empty lots except the largest in Newcrest, so I will probably use a copy of that to get started. Do you use all of the components of MC command or just some of them?

This. Is. Amazing! I can't believe I didn't find this sooner! This is a really great idea! And the fact that you are doing so many different challenges at the same time will keep you from getting bored that's for sure! lol! I'll have to try this at some point (a long ways down the line since I've already got so much going on lol)

Thanks, Mojo! Theresa is doing one too, and she is much further along than I am. I am little scared about lag, because after 6 rotations, Theresa had to split her game file into separate files.

whoa!

Also, I was just reading some of the earlier comments and just wanted to let you know that with MCCC it is possible to change the number of days a sim stays in their life stage.

Woohoo, I got caught up reading last night. I went back to school the beginning of June and the past few weeks have been hectic.

It does definitely keep me from getting bored. Even now that they are separate game files, I am still sticking to one week rotations. I will admit the first few days back in the rotation can be hard as I change mindset and try to remember what I was planning for that household.
