Yaaay update!
Spoiler:
Man, it seems like the lifespan in this game is so short :(

But I love everyone this generation -- the alien genes made it my fave.

And cripes, the engine must think you're doing a matriarchy.
Great as always!!

Time to catch up!
Spoiler:
What little I've played TS4, one of the things I noticed was that they can play TS1 (or a game strongly resembling it, anyway). It's pretty cute!

So that's how you play hooky, I see. :rotfl: (I was a good girl, too, so I wouldn't know!)

Aww, it's awesome that Arrietty and Jairo get to meet their grandchildren! And of course it's another girl! But she's a cutie. :)

Yeah... Looks like better not let Jairo cook! That looks dangerous, and it's not even the stove part!

Wow, that's a lot of birthdays. Both Erica and Marina are really cute. And Arrietty and Jairo are looking good as elders too, but it is a bit sad to know that they don't have that much time left anymore.

Yay another baby on the way. :)

Seems like Marina found a friend. Curious to see how things go on for her!
Great update!

Spoiler:
Mia definitely fights the flow! I was so pleased that they get to meet their grandparents - as sims rather than ghosts! About time, right? I cannot believe the number of girls this legacy has had - it's totally insane! I haven't played in a while, so maybe they've patched it now. I love Erica! And Marina's a blast, too! Can't wait to show you guys more of them! :)
LostinReverie:
Spoiler:
So. Many. Girls. I can't believe the gender skew - it's ridiculous! :D
pucksummerdream:
Spoiler:
I think I might have my lifespan set on short, I'll have to check, but it does seem to go by quickly.

I have loved having an alien around! His genes are great, I'm sad he's gone in game now :(

Lol, I'd be golden if I was playing a matriarchy! Just a few more boys, that's all I'm asking for!
Katri:
Spoiler:
I love it! I actually made me want to open up TS1 again, but I don't have it installed and my discs are in my Mum's house while I'm at uni.

Definitely! I don't feel like we missed out :D

Always with the girls! I am pleased Arrietty & Jairo got to meet her, though.

Yeah, maybe Arrietty should take over the cooking!

I love Erica's look, and Marina's fun to play. I've already lost Arrietty & Jairo in game, it was devastating!

As for Marina and her friend, I'm really liking the pair of them so far!

Thanks for your comments, everyone!

Have an update! :D

Loved it! What is up with your girls and napping whenever they leave the house? :haha: Hurray for a boy! It's like when they find a new population of an endangered species in the wild. "They still exist!" Great chapter. :)

Yay! So glad to see these guys again. :) I guessed I missed this for a few days, but I finally found it and read it!
Spoiler:
The house is really cute, but I don't know how you functioned with one bathroom even for a while! My sims are too privacy-challenged for that. :haha: Anyway, I like the unconventional style of the house. Wow, what a day with all those birthdays and deaths! I love the partying and club-joining you do with your sims. Elsa and Gwen are still adorable. Great chapter. :)

Spoiler:
Me neither - I'm so glad I have a second one now, I could never do without! It's a very messy, cramped little house but I love it all the same - it's one of the few houses I've built in TS4 that I'm happy with. It was a busy day - I'm so bored of birthdays that the deaths were almost a welcomed change (almost!) I worry people will get bored with the amount of Windenburg I play but I'm glad you're enjoying it. I love Gwen and Elsa <3

Thanks for your comment!

The Heir Poll is now live! Go vote! Do it! (please?) :)

I did read this and even voted, but I didn't have time to comment previously. Now I do. :)
Spoiler:
Loved the chapter, as usual. I love how this family is slightly unconventional, which means they're never boring, but still very relatable. I don't get bored of the Windenberg stuff because it's always nice to see sims getting out of the house. Also: you're so close! Keep up the good work! :#1:

So Photobucket broke a lot of my chapters.

I had finished playing this legacy awhile ago, and had been dragging my feet with updating it again. 90% of the chapters are broken, and that means relocating thousands of pictures, which adds to my lack of enthusiasm for actually writing up the end.

But I couldn't just leave it on generation 9! I actually played til the end!

For those of you who read the legacy, you'll be aware that the generation 9 heiress was Euphoria "Ria" Rad. Here she is all grown up:
Spoiler:
Image
Ria had a baby with a guy from the city named Akira, and in true Rad fashion, it was of course a girl. Her name was Skyler Rad:
Spoiler:

And that's that for this legacy! I'm sorry it sort of fizzled out, and that Photobucket have broken most of it, but I really did want to mention that I did play to the end.

Here's the family tree, for those of you who are interested:
Spoiler:

Thanks for everyone who read and commented over the course of the legacy, it means a lot! This is the first legacy I actually finished, it's just a shame I didn't finish writing it up, too.

Happy simming, everyone!

I reported it, as I have no idea if it actually fulfils the requirements for the medal, or whether it belongs in the graveyard.

I know your pain with Photobucket. I think I actually am going to go fix mine since I'm still everywhere from pretty far to very far from the end in all of mine, depending on which family, but I'm dreading doing the work. I'm sorry you lost your chapters, both for your sake and for us, the readers' sakes. This has been one of my favorite legacies for a long time, and I'm glad you were able to finish. Lovely Rad girls! Congrats on finishing! :applause:

This photobucket thing has really hit the community, hasn't it? :) It's so much work to repair it, I just couldn't face it, so hats off to you for giving it a shot!

Aw, I'm so glad you enjoyed the ride, even if the ending wasn't quite there! Thank you so much :)
