I thought of an opening line for a story the other day while I was in the shower, and now can't remember it  Was planning on attempting to get some writing done this month!

Everyone who is doing NaNo sounds like they're doing a great job so far! You can do it guys :D

I failed, haven't written a word in two weeks. Sadly, this makes the second year in a row I've failed. I can't write 30 000 words in five days, it just won't happen.

I've only ever managed to complete NaNo once, and the story I wrote was an absolute piece of shit. I had fun writing it, so I guess that's all that matters, but one day I'd like to try participating again and maybe write a decent story for once. If only so that I can get a free copy of it and design a nice over as a portfolio piece.

At the moment I'm taking a creative writing class, and all the material I've written for it is based off my legacy characters. I've learned that my class likes my grip on dialogue, but they think my character names are stupid. Somebody actually wrote that as a comment.

Heather, I'm the same! I won NaNo once, in 2010 (Oh my gosh... 5 years ago?!), and my story was a pile of crap, but at least I got 50k done in a month, right? Haha.

Creative writing class sounds awesome, although not so much that comment

Well I actually wrote 20,000 words in 4 days! Kind of flippin' amazing of me, since I had came up with brand new characters, plot, and expanded to the fantasy genre like I never thought I could do. Now that story is to a point where it makes my head hurt by how much I still don't know about in the plot. Going to give that one a backup and rest.
Now for the next month, goal is to finish my first draft of a NaNo I wrote in 2013 (and won). A story that has so much detail, needs help with actually making a story I can fall in love with and make sense all in one. So going to hit December about as hard as I did November (an idea that makes my head hurt), but try to finish the first draft before the new year.

Terrible! Haven't written a thing for my December goal.... Ended up having my brain fog up most of the month (probably prevented it with Nano and gained it with some things happening last month).

Trying a different way of writing though, starting off a blog to work through some person stuff. So I got the daily part down, think January will be a month of "write at least 1,500 words a day." Not as much as NaNo, but will help me not only work on my blog but my other writing projects.

I'm writing so much right now...
I'm most active with the series I'm writing with a friend though. We're on the third of three books already, each one at about 40,000 words. We're hoping that after we go in an edit we can bump it up that extra few thousand words, but we keep postponing it because of how bad our writing was back then :P.

I'm about to start a new novel (eep!) and I'm putting it off so much right now, even though I'm so excited for it to be a thing. Probably just need a bit of motivation after the last novel was much hated during the editing process :')

Trying to do Camp NaNo (though at the same times I've been able to write, I'm usually making myself too busy with other stuff). Oh well I keep trucking away!

recently I've been writing comedy routines for myself- I figured I would try standup, since I've always wanted to do it!

Same! I'm holding off on writing anything big for now because I'm trying to plot all my little ideas before I forget them. I'm super excited for NaNoWriMo. I'm going to attempt a fairytale retelling! I'm determined to make it amazing

I tend to write scripts, poems and satire, as well as the occasional fanfic or fan-script. The majority of my work can be found on my blog:

I finished a novel (modern day twist on Cinderella) back in March and I started working on edits shortly after writing it, but then I got super busy with college finals and graduation and now I've been back home for six and a half months and haven't looked at my novel since May. I should really keep going with edits at some point.

I started something for NaNo 2017 and stopped at about 21K because of uni stuff but I'm slowly revisiting and writing more when I find the time
