Also, we can just write a tonne of great stories to fill in the void. ;)

There is now a survey up to get additional input. There is a bit in there about the general sims chat area, so make sure you check it out. :)

This might not be the correct place, but why does Palmer not have the Great Migration of 2014 medal? Everyone who has moved from the old forum to this beautiful new forum and registered here got that one.
Can Palmer get the medal as well? He is awesome and deserves to have at least one medal, he is our mascot and has been with us since the first Boolprop. He might have done some things he shouldn't have (kidnapping I believe? That was an amazing event, I loved that one), but he is so sweet.

Theme choices? The blue/white hurts when I am on late at night and I really don't want to wear my reading glasses when I could just choose a theme to reduce eye strain.

Various themes are definitely coming. They're on our list.

Just a couple of things I had thought of:

A way to set font/format for your personal posts. Not sure if that's possible on a BB forum, but figured I'd throw that out there. That's usually one of the first things I set on a forum.
A journal type section perhaps? For the good, the bad, and the ugly - instead of starting all new topics each time. Obviously this would be part of off topic, but it was a thought. :)

Hey Jenn,

Thanks for the suggestions! :) Can you elaborate on what you mean by a way to set font/format for your personal posts? As is right now, when you click 'Post Reply' (instead of using quick reply), there are options to format your text. Is this what you meant?

Also everyone: I have not forgotten about custom themes. I just really haven't had the time to work on them yet. Hopefully this summer.

On many forums, it's part of your profile, so that when you post, it automagically remembers things like font, color, justification and other settings. Usually it works for both quick replies and regular forum posts, so that you don't have to set your preferred font/color/etc each time you post. I hope that makes sense!

So this probably only bothers me but - under the Sims 3 section, in the Fan Site description it says sims 2 fan sites...I kind of twitch every time it catches my eye, so I figured I should finally say something!

Another random thought, since I've so often had the urge but can't actually do so - is adding like/dislike/agree/disagree/love/whatever options so we can share our feelings about a post. I don't know if this forum host supports anything like that, but I was thinking along the lines of how ModTheSims does theirs. Just to add another level of engagement perhaps.

I will look to see if I can find a mod that adds that functionality, and then will need to talk with Rhea to discuss the options. I am not sure which mod MTS is using or if they coded it themselves but I haven't found anything initially. It is on the list of ideas to implement though. Thanks for the suggestion!

If the site ever reaches a high number of members, would it be feasible to create a sort of "subscribe to story" feature? When a legacy or challenge gets updated and you are subscribed to it, you get an inbox notification letting you know.

I believe there is the option to Subscribe Topic at the bottom of the page. Does this not work?

I think that option would PM you every post that is made to the thread. So not just the actual updates, but everyone's response. The idea I have in mind is more filtered.
