There aren't a lot of physical gifts I really want this year. Although I could use a bag. I love my current one, but it is more a backpack messenger bag than a pursey bag. And maybe the new Paper Mario game
What I really want this year is some peace. I need a break from everything going on an just need some time to chill. I'm planning at least on part(planning to chill! ha!), but I just want the holidays to be refuge.
We need a new diaper bag. I need some burt's bees for my lips. And ummm...That's all I really mentioned. I got my big gift for my birthday (Dec 6), which was a 3ds & Pokémon moon!
I have expensive tastes - the three things I really want are a new computer (which I'm currently saving for), a Kitchenaid stand mixer (because BAKING), and a slow cooker (which isn't expensive if you get it on sale). I also desperately need clothes that actually fit me, since all my clothes are way too big after I lost 30 pounds over the past year. We also really need a new bed - currently, my boyfriend and I are sleeping on his old futon, which is about five years old, and super uncomfortable, so a bed that is actually a bed would be nice.
I'm pretty sure that we're going to be getting a slow cooker and contributions to a new bed fund from my boyfriend's family, and I already told my mom I need gift cards for clothes, so I won't be too disappointed when opening presents this year. (Not that I need or expect presents, but my boyfriend's family is so dang nice and they buy me things and it's so weird.)
I can't even remember what I asked for but I'm so easy to buy for because any gift makes me happy. I think I would like a new monitor for my computer, Toy Story themed Vans (because they sold out of the ones I wanted), and the new Final Fantasy game would be awesome!
I actually already got my gift. It was supposed to be a birthday present, but it got delayed until Nov. 30. (Final Fantasy XV).
I also already got a pellet stove (last week) that we had to save months for, so for the first time in 6 years we have real heat.
Umm...I already got a new fridge.
Nope, I don't need a single thing this year. Maybe a new Tigger coffee mug.
Never too bothered about gifts, this year I want to be happy. I've recently come out of an abusive relationship and I'm now happy with my new partner - to feel safe is present enough. Failing that a new laptop or a fitbit won't go amiss :')
I usually ask for pratical things, stuff I need but won't buy for myself. But this year I'm not super jazzed for Christmas. *wears Grinch hat*
But my Christmas list would be
New sheets (puppy tore holes in all my sets)
New computer (Mine will be ten in 2017. It still runs well, but a new one would be nice.)
Someone to come over and teach me to use my crock pot.
Normally my husband and I go crazy buying each other stuff, and we can never wait until actual Christmas to exchange gifts. This year, however, Christmas for both of us is coming in the form of a new house, though we might not have it until the week after Christmas. I guess it's going to be one present that we can't "exchange" early!
My Christmas wish this year is to pass my thesis class obtain more dresses. I've come to the realization that dresses make you look really put together, even though they take 0 effort, and you're really only wearing them because you don't want to wear pants. I have about 5 that I wear on a regular basis, and I'd like to start changing it up before people catch on that I'm just wearing the same 6-ish outfits to school over and over again.
I wish for my health to come back. I wish for my mother's health to come back (none of us is dying, I just have severe Iron Deficiency and she has something to do with constant migraine that cause no pain but make her very dizzy).
As for something physical, I already got a nice autumn jacket and some warm warm winter boots.
I tend to buy myself physical things through the year, so for Christmas I'd like some services; car detail, laser hair removal, a class on applying makeup. We'll see what happens.

I got what I wanted already from my husband (WoW subscription!). But bubble bath, fuzzy socks, and a crockpot are also on the list this year! And my grandmother, who I thought was going to pass away, is actually doing amazingly well and might get to go home. Christmas miracle no?
I've been trying super hard to not use so much paper. I'm a person that jots and writes and scribbles so much and on everything that I've probably been incredibly destructive to the environment. To fix this, I've been thinking about investing in an iPad Pro because Iv'e seen a lot of people successfully use note taking apps (that also make your handwritten notes searchable!). Hopefully my parents agree...
