let me introduce myself:)
Hi, I'm a 35-year-old simmer from Hungary, and I've been playing this game forever... I was a (not very active) member at the old Boolprop forums, but I don't remember what my username was...
In the Sims, I like to read and write legacy stories. In real life I'm a single mom. My 5-year-old daughter loves playing TS3 (as it is easier for her to keep sims happy than in TS2), but I still much prefer TS2, and I'm also VERY excited about TS4 based on what I've seen in the CAS demo and what I read in Pinstar's blog about the gameplay.

Thanks for the welcome:) Well my thinking is that I'd prefer her to be addicted to The Sims 5 (6?) ten years from now rather than wanting to party all night long... But we'll see... Do your children play?

My daughter plays sporadically (she is on the forums as SmlKttn) but she is an adult (24, almost 25). My son prefers FPS and MMOs so he hasn't played.hangyaboly wrote:Thanks for the welcome:) Well my thinking is that I'd prefer her to be addicted to The Sims 5 (6?) ten years from now rather than wanting to party all night long... Welcome! I got my daughter addicted to the Sims 2 - she's kind of looking forward to 4, while I'm on the fence about it.

Thanks for the welcome. How old is your daughter and what does she like to play on TS2?
Regarding TS4, the only thing I'm worried about is inheriting genetics... Will it be as realistic as in the TS2 or a mess like in TS3? I hope the former...

I've heard rumors that it's going to Mendelian again, like in TS2! Welcome to Boolprop!

She's 11! She likes to create a family, and basically steal all my ideas - but her favorite thing to do on Sims 2 is to cheat.
