Question about fun:

Does writing and/or gardening raise fun or drain it?

Writing appears to make them tense. I haven't tried gardening yet.

Gardening also drains fun.

Also if you had a sim with a greenthumb trait or something maybe it wouldnt?

Ilyria: I have a male sim who dislikes children and when the wife took a pregnancy test and told him the big news he was rather upset with her. He was uncomfortable and tense and angry all day long. I don't know what happens if the woman dislikes children though. It's actually kind of funny cause he got a mop stuck to his hand somehow and now he walks around all the time waving a mop at his kids (she had twins much to his horror) and scowling at them. :rotfl:

Thanks!

I think I've already answered my first question... My Sim had blue hair and has had 3 kids so far, no blue haired kids, they all take after their father... I don't think the fantasy hair colours are able to be inherited :(

I started with a green hair, green skin founder. She had 3 kids - 2 normal skin and 1 green skin - 1 black hair and 2 red hair (dad had black hair). Generation was the green skin boy with red hair. He had 6 kids - 2 green skin, 4 normal skin - 1 with red hair and 5 with black hair. So the skin will inherit. My next spouse has blue hair so we will see what the kids end up carrying.

This, I suppose, is a general EA question.

I downloaded Origin. So, if I'm thinking correctly... nobody has any idea when TS4 is released for Mac?

I threw a Sim who hates children and her husband into a new save file, she's now pregnant.

This is the face she pulled after taking the test, she is getting tense moodlets for the pregnancy instead of the usual happy(Not 100% sure that the moodlets are usually happy) ones.

My sims tend to get the uncomfortable moodlet from pregnancy. They will also have the happy one too.

As far as I'm aware, it's not in the pipeline yet, but I could be wrong. I'd recommend bootcamp if you want to play (which is what I've done).

It's a software (I think it's made by Apple) - I'm not sure exactly how you install it, but you need it and a copy of Windows, and it basically partitions your computer so you have a PC within your Mac :) You can switch between them.

Sporks Bootcamp basically divides your hard rive so part of it runs Windows and those programs while the other part is still your mac! If you still want more info on how to do it i'd be happy to help ya! Personally I feel like it runs down both parts with just my 4g laptop :(

Anyone know how I can upload a single sim from a household to the gallery? I want to upload my heir to the gallery as a single sim but his mother is still alive in the household so it wants to upload them both.

I think you would have to go the Manage Household route, split the family for the upload and then merge them back together. With plan outfit pulling the entire family in I am not sure there is another way.

Thanks Teresa and Rhea. I was hoping they made those fun again. I guess it can be thought of as tedious work though.

Another question, during one of the gaming events, they claimed that sims could gain fun if they're listening to music while doing something else. Has anyone found this to be true?

Yes. They can't watch TV and listen to music but they will listen to music while they do homework or eat or socialize. For my musical sims that need to listen to 4 hours of music, I have them listen to music and then dance, which they will do both as separate actions but at the same time.
