Re: What's Happening in Your TS2 Challenge? Chat
Last night I revisited my OLD undocumented Borg Apocalypse household founded by Stella Terrano, and stayed long enough for Jan Tellerman (Gen 3), who lifted Medical and is married to Oscar the heir, to give birth to twins: a girl (Luna) and a boy (Crypto). Jan is 13 days away from becoming an elder ...

Re: What's Happening in Your TS2 Challenge? Chat
Yay, Katri! It's really cool when you discover something you didn't know would work so well, like your family business :party2: Mesa Vista is making great progress, mainly due to new households popping up in Barren Springs. I've decided to have just a few businesses there. So far there's Picaso's Ge...

Re: Sparks Grove - A BACC - Update 11/08/2023
Wow, you update fast! I've been following Sparks Grove after reading in Chat that you lost your other BaCCs, of which I had started Ashen Valley early in September and really enjoyed how you set that one up. I love that you play so many animals, and of course the magnificent Bane <3 I didn't know th...

Hi Katri, so glad to catch the beginning of a Legacy from you! Looks like no handicaps, just straight scoring with EPs?
I'm really interested in seeing the points accumulate, and having pics for a visual is fun too.
Yay!

Thanks for commenting, Peachy and Katri! I'm glad you like what I did with Makoto, I'm kinda digging playing elders now, especially giving them a little background story :) A quadruple update of existing families is here: https://lorinsv60.livejournal.com/21764.html and another with four new familie...

Re: Build a City Challenge Chat
100 community lots? Wow, that's a LOT. :faint: Congrats, that's quite the achievement in itself, and the population is impressive too! :applause: I was thinking about that and thought it seemed high, but then I remembered Agatha Crystalbotham owns 40 of them, and they will probably never be seen or...

Re: Build a City Challenge Chat
Played the Outside household this weekend. Mom Ciel became a business tycoon on Tuesday, and their daughter Mina, a recent college grad, bought a kitchen supply store, making it the 100th community lot in Mesa Vista. Her brother Neil headed off to University, almost permaplat from lifetime aspiratio...

Re: Build a City Challenge Chat
Mesa Vista's population is now 8968! After the Nickel & Dimed household in Barren Springs, I added a Starving Artist challenge with a teen named Drew Stark. Then Chester Gieke, who surprised me by hooking up with a gal, Laila, that he met at Barren Creek Park. They got engaged, and then ...

Re: What's Going On In Your Game?
I just started my first Legacy (for points, of course) using Pinstar's Advanced rules, within Mesa Vista to push that along as well. I chose 5 handicaps, fairly easy ones for me, to hopefully get the "finish what you started" point: - eXtreme (naturally ;)) - start on a 5x6 lot, can't move...

Rags to Riches
Posted by Snotty at MTS: https://modthesims.info/t/469201 Rags to Riches Here's a challenge I came up with and am currently undertaking myself. Basic story: You are a very poor sim who has always dreamed of making money and earning everything themselves. You have no inheritance and you didn't have e...

Re: What's Going On In Your Game?
I'm playtesting a version of the Poverty Challenge by Pleasantsims here: https://pleasantsims.com/sims-2-poverty-challenge/ (She also has a Let's Play of it on her YouTube channel, which is informative and pretty hilarious to watch, although really time-consuming.) Basically, you start with a CAS Si...

The Starving Artist Challenge
I couldn't find this challenge in the Sims 2 Rulesets on Boolprop, so I don't even remember how I found it, but it's on MTS here: https://modthesims.info/t/334990 The Starving Artist Challenge This challenge has you, as a teen, struggling to make money through only two means - painting, or novel wri...

Re: Build a City Challenge Chat
The thing that's more or less remained the same is the fact that you have to unlock CAS points. But here's the kicker: population isn't a thing in the TS4 version of the BaCC. In TS2, we keep working towards that (nearly impossible) 50,000, but in TS4 it's all about unlocking all of the different a...

Thanks, peachy! Thanks for the comment, Katri! Tracy's perseverance has definitely paid off! I don't have a specific plan for her after the challenge, as she has conveniently been so single-minded fixing up her grandparents' home. I'll see what she rolls after reaching her LTW, and next time she has...
